4 weeks postpartum and husband back to work. The reality of the nights has hit me. It really feels like the loneliest thing. I am formula feeding and have to go downstairs to heat the bottle. Any tips to help with the loneliness? I’ve downloaded beacon. Love to all xx

It gets better! It’s extremely common to be terrified of nights, I asked a lot of other moms because I was getting the worst feeling of doom around nights as the day would go on, but I’m about 8 weeks PP now & feel a LOT better about it. What helped me was knowing how normal it can be, finding a show that I only let myself watch overnight during feeds, getting myself some really nice new PJs to feel excited about wearing, & making a non negotiable morning routine (an iced chai and oatmeal) that I could look forward to during the hard moments overnight. Hang in there 🫶🏼 and feel free to message overnight, lots of us are probably awake too!

My husband was home for 2 weeks then had to go back to work, and he works out of town Mon-Fri. So it was just me for 5 days. I get it. As my baby is getting older, she only wakes up once a night. It might help to get some ready to feed formula for night feedings so it doesnt take so long. I have started doing that and it helps a lot with her not having to wait and overall taking less time of being awake. You got this, momma ❤️

I love the idea of ready-to-feed as Julianna mentioned.
If that’s not possible, Could you bring the stuff to your room and do it in there at night? We had a mini fridge in our room and it worked well for us for nursing and pumping and stuff. I would imagine being able to heat formula up there would be helpful.
Sometimes I brought a yeti/water bottle full of boiled water at night. And put the bottle in that to fridge milk in for a few minutes before I fed him. Though my son would drink frozen, cold, warm milk. From bottle or breast etc. He wasn’t particularly picky lol.
I’m also a strong advocate that husbands can still help at night even when they are back to work. He could heat up a bottle while you care for your kid or vice versa.
Heyyyy girlies looking for someone to ft and just have a good old chat with! I literally have zero friends! My poor partner has to deal with me FaceTiming him all day everyday! 😂 would love to find someone I can vibe with 🫶

When you get into an argument with your husband.
Do you or him ever throw the marriage line...
I can't believe i'm married to you?
If he says it, do you take it to heart/ seriously?
If you say it, do you mean it?

So, I struggle to continually be looking in the app, but I want to continue talking to all the mamas! Is it weird to ask for people’s phone numbers? It’s so much easier to text for me with 4 kids, being pregnant and homeschooling, but I don’t want to weird anyone out or make them uncomfortable 😣 😬🫶🏼 what do you all think?

I remember as a kid my mum had Detol for all sorts. Every graze/cut detol went on it. I've never purchased or used it, should I be? My son obviously has grazed knees quite often, I usually just clean it with cold water and let him carry on 🫣😅
