Can you be too much of a mom?

Have you ever had someone tell you you’re too much of a mom and you make others around? You feel bad because they don’t do as much with their kids that your too good and they wish you’d mess up more so others don’t feel bad. I do spend a lot of time with my children. Yes, I do activities with them. Yes I do play with them. Yes, but I am not perfect. No one is I have moments where I’m stressed out and burned out and I just want five minutes by myself, but do I take that out on my kids no do I get frustrated and overwhelmed absolutely do I have one of my kids 24 seven yes her father lives out of state, but my son spends time with his father, but I always 100% have my daughter. Do I leave her with anyone? Absolutely not I’m a very big true crime person and I’ve seen tons and tons of cases with these children get severely abuse neglected or even end up no longer breathing is that the only reason now I’ve just never gotten to the point where I feel like I need to go out and party or needs to do any specific kid free activity would it be nice yes but do I feel like that is more of a priority than being with my child no did I choose to be a mother yes so do I feel like it’s anyone else’s responsibility to take care of her, but because I don’t have babysitters on demand and anything I do involves my children. I got told I’m too much of a mom and I think that’s a little crazy but am I the one that’s crazy do I specifically need kid free time I’m not dating. I’m not trying to date. I’m in the process of buying a home for my children’s long-term future, I am focused on me and them right now, so am I missing some role that I have to have time without them this person also has a kid I guess I could understand if they didn’t. They would want me to be able to be free from time to time yes but they also have a child and claim they have no help or no break but they definitely do not as much as they would like, but definitely more than I do and me not wanting or needing it at this moment seems to be a problem for them. I said when my youngest is old enough to talk fully, I will gladly feel a little better doing these things. She’s only 18 months and my son is three, but he is speech delayed, but I have no choice when it comes to his dad and his time and who he leaves him with but my daughter 100% my choice she talks better than her three year-old brother she’s very advanced, but do I still feel ready at this point? No I don’t but am I damaging my child because I don’t just leave her with anyone and take so-called breaks. I understand some people need it and some people can’t handle it but I just don’t feel that way. Is that a bad thing? Am I really missing something. I’m genuinely asking. I’m not trying to damage my child, but like I said, I also know the risks me and my family aren’t close. I can’t trust them with my child. All of my close friends live out of state so it’s not like any of them can watch her and I’m definitely not leaving my kid with any random stranger just to have a night out and like I said her father lives out of state.

Don’t let anyone try to guilt you for being an involved mom. Your friend is projecting their own insecurities on you. There are all different kinds of mothers. Some see their child is their whole world, some see their child as a part of their world. Some focus on their career, some stay at home. There is no single right way to be a mom. It sounds to me like you’re doing an amazing job loving and caring for your children. ❤️

To be honest you sound like an aboustely amazing mum. They are the centre of everything you do and that's so special. Your not comparing yourself to others other people are making comments to you. I trust very few people with my children and I am so protective, the only people who babysit her are my sister or parents. That's because I trust them 100%. If you don't need time on your own, that's okay not everyone does. If you needed it you could have the time when your children are in bed. You are amazing ❤️❤️ xxx

Money

I’m getting really close to saying f this relationship over money. I’m with my kids dad. We have two. He is extremely spoiled. I peeped that a long time ago. He does not like to pay bills. I make less than him but I still end up paying the majority of the bills. Like say rent for the month of August was $1100 (it’s going to be $1700 next month but we’re on a move in special that ended this month). The phone bill was due $220. I had to pay my car note car insurance and light bill. All of those were about $200 as well. This man sent me $500 which I’m only factoring into the household bills not my own bills for my car. On top of paying bills I always buy groceries. He never does. He might buy like snacks for the kids after school but no food to make meals. I feel like I’m being crushed financially and he’s getting to put money up!

Relationship in the gutter

I think my relationship with my baby's dad is heading towards the gutter...
Ever since having my little boy I've been struggling with being physically involved with my partner, it's almost like the idea of it repulsives me?
I've never been a very romantic person, nor have I ever been very good at being intimate (due to abuse from a previous relationship).
Lately it feels like he's pressuring me into being intimate, and saying I don't love him because I can't do it. I've explained to him many times about how I'm feeling but it just doesn't seem to change anything. He even said he feels like we're just friends at this point.
He's aware of my past issues, and has no issues with that. I've had therapy for my past, but this seems different?

I don't know what I'm hoping for from this post, just feel like I need to air out how I'm feeling!
I've had a "breakdown" today, not that he found out. Just don't feel I have anyone to talk to about it

Lack of support

How do you guys deal with when your husband doesn’t want to help take care of your kids?
We are first time parents our son is now 5 months and my husband hasn’t helped in almost 4 months he says he can’t take the baby crying or the screeching. So I’ve been doing everything on my own while working and being in college and taking care of our son.
