Is it too soon to Teach my 10 year old to shave?

My daughter started hitting that body hair growth stage, I’m worried she will get bullied for armpit hair. Do yall think it’s too soon to teach her to shave?

Its very soon to have armpits hair 😭. But if my little girl were feeling self conscious about it i think i would teach her to shave . But only the armpits x

i had to start shaving around that age. i hit some things earlier than most other kids my age. my dad did not allow me to shave and i was extremely embarrassed and wore long sleeve shirts and jeans all the time. i think that if she asks about it, it wouldn’t hurt to allow her to shave her underarms!

If she’s already going at it then it would be a good time to teach her. I wish my mother was observant enough to do this with me when I started to notice hair and that other girls were shaving legs at PE practice. I remember feeling really embarrassed so I wish someone spoke to me and explained that it’s ok to have hair but if I want to this is how I can shave safely

I wouldn't teach her anything she didn't mention she was feeling bad about. If she told you she was feeling bad about hair in armpit then I would be fully present to find a solution with her. If she seems fine with it, she might be totally fine with it.

I started shaving my legs and armpits around age 10 and I regret it. my leg hair is very thick and black now, but not my thighs which I dont shave often, my thigh hair is very light and not thick. I wish I never shaved my legs 💔 my armpits also thick and dark and grows back very quickly. 10 yr olds should not be getting bullied about any of this 🥲
That being said, if she has asked you to teach her I don’t think it’s too early. But if she hasn’t asked just make sure you let her know she has options, if she wants to get rid of body hair she can. and if she doesn’t want to make sure she knows that body hair is completely normal and nothing to be ashamed of, even if people make it seem like it sometimes.

My mom taught me how to shave my legs in kindergarten 😂 I had to start shaving my armpits around 4th grade as well. I hit puberty in 5th grade and I’m Lebanese hence why I was so hairy so soon lol! I honestly wanted to shave though because I didn’t like being hairy. For example my mom never wanted me to shave my arms but this was something I wanted to do because I didn’t like hair. I don’t think it would hurt to have a conversation and then showing her how to shave!

Co sleeping

Going through 4 month regression and I’m so tired. I want to co sleep but my baby was born at 36 weeks. So the advice is not to co sleep. I don’t know what to do

Noisy baby

My 5 week old is unbelievably noisy while asleep so much so I can’t sleep myself, when do they start to get quieter? Google is saying 3 months 🥴

Getting out

Any tips on just getting out more with the baby? She is 3 months old and fights her naps terribly, so once she’s tired she will just scream and in the house I have to stand and rock her so I worry about going out because she will scream in the car and when out in public but I’m going crazy being in the house or just wandering around the streets. It’s really starting to affect me 😢

Sleep!

Anyone any tips for preventing this? He’s just turned 4 months and keeps rolling to his side in his sleep and walking up really unsettled, I try put him on his back and he just goes straight back over, I’m obviously worried about suffocation if he can’t one day manage to get himself back on his back

Sleeping through

My baby is 11 weeks tomorrow and still hasn’t slept through. I know they’re all different but my first born was sleeping through at around 6/7 weeks so I did expect it by now 😂 he’s formula fed and his wake times vary but last night his last evening feed was at 11pm so I expected a longer stretch than 2:30 🫠 anyone’s baby sleeping through more often than not yet? I’d love just one full night 😣

Newborn nappies

Just wondering which brands you are getting on with to see if there’s a consensus?
Last time around I used Pampers for first few months, but don’t think we can afford that this time! I was going to stock up on Tesco F&F ones but reviews are shocking…
Are Aldi ones good?? Any other brands working or to be avoided?

Thanks 🙏🏻♥️♥️
