My 5 week old is unbelievably noisy while asleep so much so I can’t sleep myself, when do they start to get quieter? Google is saying 3 months 🥴

Try earplugs. They were a life saver for me

Yes thats right! I was more prepared with my 2nd as with ny 1st like you I had no idea how noisy they were! Maybe get a white noise machine to drown out the noise? X

Mine is periodically noisy through the night and then he goes silent so I have to check he's still breathing! There's no winning with babies 😂
Hi, I am a single mum to three children (3, 5 & 7). I don’t have much family support & I don’t have friends. I am really struggling with my mental health at the moment. I know you’re not medical professionals but I’m very isolated and alone and I think having other mums advice would just help me. Iv had a lot go off in my life from my children’s dad who I was with for 8 years and split up 4 months ago. I never lived on my own before him, I went from living with my parents straight to getting a new place with him. Now 8 years later I’m in a new place on my own with my three children and I’m finding things tough. He isn’t involved in their life anymore which was his own decision.
I am overwhelmed all the time, stressed all the time, I have no patience. My mindset is so low and negative all the time. I hate everything about myself. I hate my life and how it’s turned out. I feel angry at the world and for making wrong decisions. My self esteem is the lowest it could be.
I have spoken to my gp who told me to self refer to counselling therapy. I did this but it’s a 9 month waiting list. I’m on the list but I just can’t imagine going another 9 months feeling the way I do. I couldn’t be completely honest with my gp in detail as I worry they’ll get social involved. I had the worse experience when I had postnatal depression with my first child 7 years ago and they got social involved and it made my life hell, no support at all except judgement and it made my mental health so much worse, I’d never trust them again.
I just want to feel happy again. I want to enjoy life again, enjoy spending time with my children. I feel like iv failed them and I feel like iv given up. I don’t know who I even am anymore. I’m just their mum. I miss being me.
Are there any support sites or apps that you know about…9 months seems so long when I’m struggling so much now.
Thank you if you’ve read this.

How many of you tracked feeds, sleep, and diapers vs just feeding on demand (bottle or breast) and following baby's cues? For those that tracked - may I ask why/ if it helped in some specific way?

My baby is 20 days old and I can’t really put him down for even a second without waking him up during the day and same at night. He’s been sleeping in our bed because that’s how wr can get a little rest but I would love to get at least 2 hours of bassinet freedom to hug my husband.

Going through 4 month regression and I’m so tired. I want to co sleep but my baby was born at 36 weeks. So the advice is not to co sleep. I don’t know what to do

We were together for just a year before I decided he wasn't for me. He yelled at my own child to the point where she was screaming crying in fear and I knew from that moment that we couldn't be a family sadly. I don't leave right away and that's on me but I did leave. Only I left and found out i was pregnant. I'm 27 weeks on Friday and I've seen him a few times since for sex and my anatomy scan and he wants to be involved but we obviously can't be together and I worry about how things will go when the baby comes. Please don't judge me but I don't feel strong enough to do this completely alone. I can't make him go away and not that I want him to not know his son but I can't deal with him yelling at my baby the way he yelled at my daughter and his own kids. I just don't know what to do. We haven't talked about any plans and I just know it will be on me to establish really firm boundaries and postpartum will be hard enough idk what to do
