Sleeping through

My baby is 11 weeks tomorrow and still hasn’t slept through. I know they’re all different but my first born was sleeping through at around 6/7 weeks so I did expect it by now 😂 he’s formula fed and his wake times vary but last night his last evening feed was at 11pm so I expected a longer stretch than 2:30 🫠 anyone’s baby sleeping through more often than not yet? I’d love just one full night 😣

Still up 2/3 times a night but breast fed, would love longer stretches too but don’t think it’ll be for some time 😢

My first was also sleeping 10plus hours straight at this point but my June baby is still very hit and miss. Longest stretch is 6hrs! Which in the grand schemes of things is amazing but really could do with some longer stretches 😅 I'm exhausted

My 1st didnt sleep through the night until 2 and a half 😒😂😂😂

Similar to above, first didn’t sleep through until 16 months. He used to wake 7 times a night so I was convinced I’d bottle feed this time.

Still exclusively breastfeeding this time because she’s the total opposite! 1-2 wakes if I insist she feeds because I’m uncomfortable😂. She has cried once in the night, in the whole 10 weeks of life. They are all so different. Just pot luck I’m afraid!

Mine has woken every 1-2 hours every night since birth 😵

Mental health with children

Hi, I am a single mum to three children (3, 5 & 7). I don’t have much family support & I don’t have friends. I am really struggling with my mental health at the moment. I know you’re not medical professionals but I’m very isolated and alone and I think having other mums advice would just help me. Iv had a lot go off in my life from my children’s dad who I was with for 8 years and split up 4 months ago. I never lived on my own before him, I went from living with my parents straight to getting a new place with him. Now 8 years later I’m in a new place on my own with my three children and I’m finding things tough. He isn’t involved in their life anymore which was his own decision.
I am overwhelmed all the time, stressed all the time, I have no patience. My mindset is so low and negative all the time. I hate everything about myself. I hate my life and how it’s turned out. I feel angry at the world and for making wrong decisions. My self esteem is the lowest it could be.

I have spoken to my gp who told me to self refer to counselling therapy. I did this but it’s a 9 month waiting list. I’m on the list but I just can’t imagine going another 9 months feeling the way I do. I couldn’t be completely honest with my gp in detail as I worry they’ll get social involved. I had the worse experience when I had postnatal depression with my first child 7 years ago and they got social involved and it made my life hell, no support at all except judgement and it made my mental health so much worse, I’d never trust them again.

I just want to feel happy again. I want to enjoy life again, enjoy spending time with my children. I feel like iv failed them and I feel like iv given up. I don’t know who I even am anymore. I’m just their mum. I miss being me.

Are there any support sites or apps that you know about…9 months seems so long when I’m struggling so much now.

Thank you if you’ve read this.

Genuine Question About Tracking

How many of you tracked feeds, sleep, and diapers vs just feeding on demand (bottle or breast) and following baby's cues? For those that tracked - may I ask why/ if it helped in some specific way?

New born sleep

My baby is 20 days old and I can’t really put him down for even a second without waking him up during the day and same at night. He’s been sleeping in our bed because that’s how wr can get a little rest but I would love to get at least 2 hours of bassinet freedom to hug my husband.

Co sleeping

Going through 4 month regression and I’m so tired. I want to co sleep but my baby was born at 36 weeks. So the advice is not to co sleep. I don’t know what to do
