Shoe.... Ugh

Why is it so hard to find rain boots for my 14.5 month old???? Or just shoes in general.
Walmart, Nike, other shoe stores don't carry her size. If I do find her size, it's soft fluffy shoes with no support. I managed to find a pair of indoor shoes that will eventually fit at Carter's, but the smallest winter boots were size 6.
She's size 2. The indoor shoes are 3. No rainboots anywhere.
She needs indoor, outdoor, rainboots and snow boots for daycare starting on the 21st. I have almost every member of our family (both sides) looking for footwear.
I even resorted to looking on Shein for rainboots, smallest size 4.5. My mum said she'll look on Temu.
My husband and MIL went to Once Upon a Child for their shoe sale. Smallest size 4. She walks out of them

At least we have a little time to find winter boots.

Baby crying with husband

My husband has always been the one who made our baby fall asleep. I didn't manage to do it well/easily until recently, but now our baby is approaching 3 months and is crying every time his dad tries to make him fall asleep. Never with me. What's going on? Has anyone experienced this? Very bad news for me (and of course awful for him).

Considering quitting breastfeeding

I’m having a bit of a breakdown girls🤣
Baby girl is 2 weeks old today & I’m really struggling with breastfeeding. Baby has had her tongue tie snipped today but she’s still struggling to feed and im literally at the edge with it all mentally. She’s still really underweight so I have lots of pressure to get her weight up as fast as I can. (Still 6lbs 4oz, remained the same since day 5).

Baby is either on the boob for 6 hours straight (where she cant get enough milk) or she’s screaming at the boob and refusing it, but constantly eating her hands and looking for nipple as if she’s starving. My supply has really dropped and I’m hardly pumping anything so I don’t really have bottles to give her. I’ve followed all the advice from the breastfeeding clinics and done everything I can to increase my supply and try my best to calm baby down. I’m just shattered and don’t think I can take it anymore.

It’s causing me and my partner to argue because I haven’t slept since she’s been born and he’s not been the most supportive. Anything I say he gets all defensive and says he’s tired too (even though he sleeps through), he then says “it’s not a competition, you don’t appreciate what I do). During an argument today I’ve told him to go to the shops and buy formula because I can’t take this anymore.

What is your advice? Have you been in this situation & just stuck with it & come out at the other end? Does it get better?
Or did you switch to bottles & get better from there?
I know it’s all a very personal thing but I’m just so torn on what to do.
I reallyyy had my heart set on breast feeding but I’m really hating it right now.

My 2-week-old cries A LOT — especially during diaper changes. Is this normal? 🥺

My baby girl is 2 weeks and 3 days old, and she cries quite a lot, especially when we change her diaper. We’ve tried things like dipping the wipes in warm water so they don’t feel cold, having a toy nearby, playing soothing music, using a pacifier, etc., but she still gets very upset.

She’s also cluster feeding every 15–20 minutes sometimes, and other times every 30 minutes to an hour. An hour between feeds feels manageable, but the difficult part is that she often contact naps in between. As soon as we put her down, she starts rooting again and searching for the nipple.

Sometimes after a feed, she’ll just keep the nipple in her mouth like a pacifier. And even when she doesn’t seem hungry, she often wants a pacifier during the day.

At night, we’re giving her around 60–90 ml of expressed breast milk via bottle.

I know newborns can be very demanding, but honestly, her crying can feel unbearable sometimes, and I’m finding it really difficult to know whether she’s hungry, needs comfort, or something else is bothering her.

Did anyone else go through something similar around 2–3 weeks? How did you cope with the constant crying, feeding and contact naps? Any tips would be really appreciated. ❤️

Breastfeeding drama!

Please someone else say this is them and have a solution! 15 week old feeds so well during the night and just before bed but since becoming more wriggly he will just not sit still to be fed during the day! He's combi fed and takes the bottle no problem but when breastfeeding he's kicking his legs constantly, latching on and off and getting irritated which in turn irritates me and I end up taking him off cause he's barely feeding, anyone got a solution to this!?

My 15 month old will not drink cows milk, any advice?

Hiya,
I’m still breastfeeding because my baby doesn’t like cows milk, she doesn’t like formula either.
But she does drink cows milk with her weetabix, she just won’t drink it on its own.
She’s also never ever taken to a bottle, even if I put breastmilk in it. So I’ve been trying straw cups instead which she uses to drink water.

A friend of mine said her 15 month old only drinks cows milk if she mashes banana into it but I don’t wana do anything like that cos I think it’s too much sugar intake maybe?

I really really want and need to stop breastfeeding for my own sanity but because she won’t drink cows milk, I can’t lol :/

Any suggestions please
