Open degree

I did an open university degree while working full time. I would say do the degree part time while working and raising children so that you give yourself enough time to study without feeling overwhelmed. A full time study needs 35hours of study a week whereas part time is 16hours x

I did an OU degree too and second what Zoe says. I would do it part time. Takes longer but more manageable around work and life. Can be hard at times and you need to be self motivated but great way of obtaining a degree 🙂

My mother did an OU degree in international relations purely for her own interest and because she also didn’t go to university - she really enjoyed it and found doing it part time manageable around term time job and two children

I did an OU degree whilst working full time and absolutely agree with other comments, do it part time. Took me 6 years to complete but it was manageable 😊 good luck!

I did a part time whilst working full time and my last year whilst pregnant! It was doable but I couldn’t have done a full time degree with a full time job let alone with children. Defo give it a go, mine was also just personal reason rather than career progression. It’s always good to learn! Good luck x
