I did mine this week. I chose orange. It tasted like flat Fanta lol but wasn’t bad at all.

My office also offered lemon lime or ā€œwaterā€ flavor. They said not to pick the water one

Mine’s the first and I picked the fruit punch. They sent me home at my last appointment with it so I could drink it straight out of the fridge. My OB and the ladies at the front all said it was their favorite so I’m optimistic lol

I haven’t done it yet, this is my first kid and will be my first time trying it so I’m in need of some advice on what to choose lol, also what all is the glucose test anyways? I know it’s to check for some type of diabetes but I don’t remember which?

I chose orange! I did mine 2 weeks ago. it really just tasted like a melted popsicle.

I'm doing the fresh test, it's a natural glucose option that I'm trying cause I got sick with the other one - it's mint lemonade flavored! I think it's gonna be way better, I'll lyk!!

Most ob/gyns accept it now!

I did mine last Thursday. I bought the fresh test on my own and second it from the above comment. The flavor is mint lemonade, but it didn’t taste like mint at all to me and just tasted like lemonade. I also used cold water and drank through a straw. It was so good I downed it in a minute šŸ˜‚

I’m actually pulling up rn to do mine. I’m only tried orange with my pregnancies.

I did fruit punch flavor! Not horrible though with the glucose test your blood sugar goes all over the place for the next 24-48 that can make you feel sick or sluggish, try eating foods high in protein and fiber and if you start craving sweet opt for fruit over other sugary foods, helps your body reregulate faster

Accidentally ate Brie!

Hi everyone!
I'm about 8-9 weeks pregnant, and have just eaten a Brie, bacon and chilli chutney sandwich from Sainsburys, and I completely forgot until I finished eating it and looked on the packaging where it says "expectant mothers should avoid eating this cheese" 😩
Will I (and šŸ‘¶šŸ») be okay??
Anyone else had the same experience and everything's been absolutely fine?

Glucose Test

I’m so nervous to do it. I have been up most of the night with anxiety. Can I just prick myself and change my diet ? Asking for advice please.

Prenatal anxiety

Hello, I'm 31 weeks pregnant and my anxiety is alot at the moment. I've always suffered with anxiety but haven't taken medication, besides the occasional beta blocker for stressful work events or my driving test. My anxiety is mostly about when the baby is here, will I be anxious driving? Will I fall when holding baby? Will I feel anxiety everyday holding baby. Did anyone have bad anxiety during pregnancy? And then were you okay when baby was here? I can't let myself be excited about the baby being here, as I only think negatively. I'm also 40 and think if I was pregnant when I was younger I would be less anxious. I am waiting to be referred to a therapist, but it's taking sometime.

Zofran or no zofran…?

I’ve struggled with severe hyperemesis this pregnancy. I’ve been sick everyday and had multiple days in a row of not being able to keep down any food or water. I recently ended up in the hospital for a few rounds of IV fluids. They prescribed me zofran to take every couple of hours, and it helps SO MUCH. However… I read online that it does have some side effects and could potentially affect the baby. There is some correlation between zofran in the first trimester and cleft palates. So now I’m scared to take it, but I also know that dehydration and malnutrition is more dangerous to the baby…. What am I supposed to do??

Did anyone take zofran regularly with the pregnancy? Did you use it sometimes instead of daily? Nothing else has worked for me, so please don’t suggest ginger chews or motion sickness bands of whatever else. This is not your casual morning sickness. I’m losing serious weight over here 🤢
