Childcare tax free

I’m sorry to be annoying but I just don’t understand childcare tax free account on the gov website. My boy is due to start nursery next week and I’d like to take advantage of the tax free but I just don’t understand it.

Could someone please spare some time to explain it to me please?

Thank you

Ask the nursery for their tax free code. Then on your gov login area, search for the nursery and save it. Then when you get your invoice you need to transfer the amount from your bank account minus the 20% tax free to the childcare account (it has a sort code and account code to set up standing order if you wish). Then once the money has arrived in your gov account the 20% extra will be deposited. Then you can pay the nursery the full bill from the gov account.
I tend to do this manually as the amount can vary month to month but you can schedule the payments into your gov childcare account and then from the childcare account to the nursery.

I get my invoice, transfer the money to the tax account (shows next day along with the 20% added) then I pay the nursery. I pay a little extra so that at some point I don't have to transfer as much if it's a longer month. Once you've done it once it's easy. Feel free to message me and I can try and help 😊

Transfer the money into the account - when you set it up you would have been given the bank details and unique reference for your child. Pay the money in the gov top up gets added a day or 2 later. Then you can set up a payment from there to your childcare provider - just search for them and again make sure they are away of your child’s ref number so they know whose bill allocate the money too.

My little love has started wanting more and more milk like 200ml was his last feed and still wanting more, he will chew on my finger and his gums look a bit red. Could he be teething this early?

Going abroad

Hey, so I’m taking my 10 month old to Tenerife next week (my first abroad holiday with her), and was just wondering what essentials I need, how did people deal with washing bottles and sterilising, what water to use, do I take a car seat? The hotel states they will supply the travel cot, but do I just take my own instead or will the one there be okay. Any help/advice would be great☺️

starting solids

Hi guys! My baby is 4.5 months and i was wondering on whether or not to starts solids. Whenever me and my partner are eating she’s constantly focused on the food. She also puts anything from her hands to her mouth. Do you think I could start giving her purees like avocado?
