Nursery Experience ✨

Good afternoon Mamas , I would like to know your baby’s experiences at nursery’s , as I’m struggling with Anxiety, I have a 1 y6 months toodler and I would love put her for just 3 hours 2 days a week just to have contact with other kids so it’s good for her wellbeing , but I’m having difficulties , as I’m a SUPER PROTECTIVE mum , I know that it’s good for my mental health too ! I will really appreciate ✨🤎 thank you

Just something to be aware of, some nurseries have 'minimum' sessions that have to be attended so 2 x 3 hours might not be enough x

3 hours won't be enough time for her to adjust. They really need 5-6 hours, ideally two days in a row

Both my kids LOVED nursery, had such a great time there. They were well cared for and loved there too.

Hi Lalah, I was also super anxious too and I still am as LO is moving up to the toddler room now and the transitions can be tough! Overall he enjoys it now but it can be hit and miss with the new room settling, and I love having the time to myself. Feel free to message me as I'm sure I know exactly how you're feeling as I've been there ❤️

Also, my boy did 1 full day (7.45-4.30) and 1 half day (3.5-4 hrs) a week and he settled in fine after a few weeks

Fresh ideas needed!

I am needing new ideas for snacks and meals for my 18 month old. He's typically a pretty good eater but we struggle getting him to eat protein. Looking for some healthy high protein/ high fat ideas that might not end up on the floor 😆.
No allergies and the only things he really refuses are eggs, and any kind of unground meat.

Flying alone with a 13 months old

Hello ladies. I am scheduled to travel alone with my son this October on a 14 hour flight.

Looking for tips specifically on below:-
- navigating airport. I suppose it’s not possible to bring a cabin trolley luggage since I have to push a stroller at the same time. How to pack baby essentials?
- on flight - the flight will take off at 9pm. What time should I put my son to sleep? What do I entertain him on a 14 hour flight?
- any other thoughts / recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

12 month jabs

Hi looking for some mum advice!

My little boy has his 12 month jab today and my husband is on annual leave for the next two weeks and wants to book a holiday for us to go away.

I’m nervous anyway as will be first abroad holiday but now hearing stories about the side effects of the jabs and wondering whether the timing is awful for my little boy.

Would you go on holiday (Spain most likely) in the days after the 1 year jabs or is that just asking for trouble?

Do you believe this or see it this way too? My son had a speech evaluation done and she said having the tablet on in the background isn’t considered screen time it’s only when they are actively engaging on it.

So My son basically has Disney movies and credits playing in the background of his playing and daily life most of the day till it dies and he gets another one and I figured this is bad and way too much but she said it wasn’t because he’s not glued to it and still plays alongside it unlike most kids she see “iPad kid” and I thought my kid was an iPad kid. Idk anymore honestly my brain hurts from today
