Potty

Has anyone introduced a potty yet?
My little one brings me nappies when she needs changing at times and has signs when she’s going to the toilet.
I introduced it today and she did a wee first time sitting on it after her nap, but when telling a friend her response was a lot like “that’s way too early”.
Just wondering if anyone else has introduced it?
I’m not properly potty training, more just sitting her on it at times, she’ll still be in nappies no pants or things like that.

3 year old SD with smegma build up

So, we’re not sure what to do in this situation because my 3 year old SD just got dropped off to us and while getting her ready for bed her father had to wipe her legs down as she had pen all over her legs and he noticed that her bits had quite a lot of white build up so my partner called me over and asked me for my opinion but we’re not sure what to do with the information.

Her father doesn’t know what to do as he feels her bio mum should know but Her bio mum can get very confrontational and agitated very quickly and he doesn’t know how to approach it or if he should?

I know it’s normal for a toddler to get it but a very small amount and looking at it it wasn’t a small amount it was a thick clump going down both sides and over the hood. So it wasn’t/couldn’t be a build up of that volume from her last bath 2 days ago on Wednesday

We have cleared it extremely gently with a warm soft wash cloth which is safe to do, but we don’t know what to do next in terms of on the adult side of things?

Leaving my husband

How do I leave my husband as a sahm? I have no family near me so I really have no support. No job or money. I have nothing. I’m so unhappy in my marriage. I communicate my feelings and nothing ever changes. Any advice or tips on how to get out of this?

Do your potty trained toddler boy sit down to pee?

My husband says we should teach him to pee standing up, but he's gotten so used to peeing sitting down idk how to even try it standing.

I once tried to help him do an emergency pee outside 🫣 and it didn't end well.

Is it worth teaching him now (he's newly 3) or is it something that bigger kids will just kinda learn as they go?

Do you thank your husband for doing tasks you would’ve had to do?

Do you say thank you when he does something that you think he should’ve just done but you had to ask him to do? Lately I’ve been trying to be kinder about the way I communicate to my husband and a big thing has been me just trying to ask him to do things instead of being upset and snapping about having to do them or just telling him to do it. I feel torn because I don’t get thanked for doing everything else, but I know he likes the acknowledgment and it makes me seem nicer in his eyes but I also feel like I’m parenting him too when I have to ask him to do things and even tho I am thankful he did it, I don’t want to have to ask. He’s the type of guy that wants me to just make him a list of things to do but I just feel like he’s acting like a child when I do. I don’t want to micro manage him but I think that’s what he wants, even tho he wants to do everything on his schedule, I have to still tell him what to do. Part of me feels like I’m enabling bad habits but is this common in relationships? Newly married and new parents so we are still figuring out things together.

what do you guys feed your babies for lunch? i don’t eat lunch usually so idk what to give her lmao she’s not the best eater but i’m trying to get her to eat more, something that’s light ish so she’ll still eat dinner!

4 month old loves tv

My 4 month old loves tv. She talks to the characters and watches intently. She didn't miss a thing. But I'm worried about how much she likes it. That's the way my mom was able to entertain her while I was working.
How do you guys feel about it? Any suggestions for safer shows? I like background noise while I do stuff and I don't want her over stimulated or anything if she thinks to watch for a minute.
