Do your potty trained toddler boy sit down to pee?

My husband says we should teach him to pee standing up, but he's gotten so used to peeing sitting down idk how to even try it standing.

I once tried to help him do an emergency pee outside 🫣 and it didn't end well.

Is it worth teaching him now (he's newly 3) or is it something that bigger kids will just kinda learn as they go?

Would you be okay with your partner behaving like this?

I’m going out tomorrow with friends, my partner and their partners for a bottomless brunch. I found a nice top to wear but my partner got angry and said I couldn’t wear it because I ā€œdon’t need to have my boobs out.ā€ I then chose a square neck top but he pulled a face about that too so to keep the peace I’ve now settled on wearing a T-shirt.

I spoke to my friends and they’re all wearing lovely tops, including corset-style/square-neck tops. I asked my partner if I could wear something similar but he said I should wear something ā€œrespectableā€ and that the tops I showed him would ā€œpiss him off.ā€

Now I feel like I’m going to be really underdressed and I don’t know what I can wear that he’ll approve of.

He’s also said he doesn’t want other men looking at me but I can’t help feeling uncomfortable with that when I’ll be sitting there while he’s looking at other women who are wearing revealing clothes. I’ve tried talking to him but it just causes a row.

Am I overreacting to this ?

Me and my partner are in the process of buying our first home. We have only viewed the property once at the start of our journey when we were viewing multiple properties at a time. Now we are official in the buying process and are quite close to the end, our survey report listed a few problems and advised us to get inspections done and view the pretty again before we finalise the purchase (this was only yesterday we received the results, I made an entire list of things we need to raise with the solicitor and things to look into but my partner didn’t even read it yet) .

I received an email just now from the estate agent confirming a viewing booking for us of the property, my partner has booked another viewing for next week without mentioning to me. He is now telling me he is going with a specialist contractor to view and that I can’t go. It’s not a question, he is telling me I’m not going.

I have said I want to go, because I would like to view the property again (all things considered like redecorating etc it’s helpful to view again know we are actually buying this one). I’ve told him I won’t disturb him with the contractor and that I’ll do my own thing but he’s adamantly told me I am not coming.

I can’t understand why he has a problem with me coming. He is telling me that if I want to view it then he will book a 3rd viewing for us to go, but I have said what’s the point of doing that when I can just go along to the viewing next week when he’s already going there??

Even when I asked who the contractor is he didn’t give me a real answer, he told me ā€˜some guy’ and I asked the name and he still didn’t give me an answer and just laughed and said ā€˜do you think it’s a woman?’

Difficult babies and older siblings

Send help and advice please!

My 6 month old is a high maintenance baby. He does this awful constant whine if he’s not got attention or being stimulated which is incredibly stressful on its own. Add a 2 year old into the mix who also needs a lot of attention and stimulation, I feel like i’m drowning. My 2 year old is having behavioural issues (hitting, throwing etc.) because he’s not getting his energy out. Our days are spent in the house, as my 6 month old hates the pushchair and carrier. I feel so bad for my 2 year old, he has so much energy to get out and he’s not able to indoors. I don’t know what to do

Baby only sleeps 20 minutes at a time so we can’t get a good chunk of time to let that energy out

Need some help financially but idk what else to do 😭

I’m posting incognito because in fear of being judged for this. Yall we are struggling so hard right now financially. I fear we can’t get help with job and family services because we make too much but our debt is consuming us in every way. I’ve been depressed so I haven’t been able to stay on top of the bills and my husband doesn’t have the password because I don’t want him to stress about it so I’ve just been taking care of it by self because Christmas last year was spent in the hospital because my husband was too stressed out and he’s been freaking out over our finances right now any ways so I don’t want to add to that.

The main issue is the Phone bill - our service was suspended because I made a promise to pay but it didn’t go through in our bank. $227 is what’s past due right now and that’s what got us. I can make an arrangement hopefully after it’s caught up for the payment that’s due on the 4th. My baby is home alone with my in-laws and they have no way to reach out if something happens now

Husband probs.

My husband loves to argue with our 5 year old son. He called him a big baby because he likes to sleep in our room and not in his own bed. He constantly treats our son like shit bc our son is ā€œmeanā€ well he’s not gonna change unless he changes but he thinks it’s the opposite way around. Childish or no??

Overthinking

Any one else feel like sometimes their child is happier to see their dad? I was off on maternity leave for 5 months and my husband worked 7-7 . So I thought sometimes my son was so happy to see my husband because he rarely got to see him, compared to he sees me every waking moment. Now that I’m back to work though, I feel like he just has a bigger happier reaction when he sees his dad in the morning or when he comes home compared to seeing me . This may sound childish , but it just makes me feel like I’m doing something wrong .
