Husband probs.

My husband loves to argue with our 5 year old son. He called him a big baby because he likes to sleep in our room and not in his own bed. He constantly treats our son like shit bc our son is “mean” well he’s not gonna change unless he changes but he thinks it’s the opposite way around. Childish or no??

Massively childish. He is meant to model good behaviour for your son, not the other way round

I’ve commented on ur other posts. This is a common theme. Again I’ll say it, Your husband is a POS

I would not allow my son to be around that

I'm not sure what advice you're seeking or if you just need to hear again that your husband is the problem. This won't change because he doesn't think there's anything wrong

Leave that man asap x
You and your son will be better for it

In your post 2m ago you threatened divorce on another subject because he’s holding you back from being the mum you want to be. So what’s holding you back from divorcing him? Because he’s a manchild and an Ahole to say the least. You KNOW he’s a bad father, and now this. Problems are going to keep coming up for you and arguments are going to keep happening the longer you are with him. Who argues with a 5yr old?! My son is 7 and sneaks into our room every morning at 5/6 to cuddle me, hubby has never said a word.

My partner “matches energy” with my 4 yr old because sometimes she doesn’t want to talk to him or hold his hand and I think that shit is so weird
Any who I’m leaving him I move out on Monday for a number of things but the energy towards the kids is so odd

Huh, I wonder why your son is “mean” to him if he treats him like shit and calls him names and is in fact teaching him to be mean to everyone too 🫠 HOW WEIRD DAD. UGH. 😑 I love when they complain about problems they’re blatantly creating.

Would you be okay with your partner behaving like this?

I’m going out tomorrow with friends, my partner and their partners for a bottomless brunch. I found a nice top to wear but my partner got angry and said I couldn’t wear it because I “don’t need to have my boobs out.” I then chose a square neck top but he pulled a face about that too so to keep the peace I’ve now settled on wearing a T-shirt.

I spoke to my friends and they’re all wearing lovely tops, including corset-style/square-neck tops. I asked my partner if I could wear something similar but he said I should wear something “respectable” and that the tops I showed him would “piss him off.”

Now I feel like I’m going to be really underdressed and I don’t know what I can wear that he’ll approve of.

He’s also said he doesn’t want other men looking at me but I can’t help feeling uncomfortable with that when I’ll be sitting there while he’s looking at other women who are wearing revealing clothes. I’ve tried talking to him but it just causes a row.

Would you be annoyed at this reaction

We were at a children's party the other day (5 year olds) a little girl hit/pushed my daughter in the stomach ( I saw it and told the little girl "No you dont hit" she ran off.
My daughter was very upset.
About 40 minutes later the little girl ran over and said sorry to my daughter.
Her dad mum was there this time and asked me what she was saying sorry for I told her because she pushed my daughter in the stomach.
The mum just said " oh well thats what kids do at that age" and then carried on talking to someone else!
If that was me I would have apologized

Is it just me?

Does everyone get stressed out over certain baby cries?? This is my first but my husbands 3rd so im not sure if its me being a first time mom or if its just a dad thing and he can just handle it on a different level. There are whiney cries or sleepy cries I can tolerate for a little bit. But then there are the pain cries or cries where I swear hes yelling help me that I just cant deal with. I cry if it goes on for too long without helping (like driving in a car or the drs appt). My husband seems to be so much more comfortable tolerating it. Its not that he doesnt care. He reassures me while he does what he can for our son. But hes not losing it like I am. Will this get better? Or is this just what being a mom is?

Difficult babies and older siblings

Send help and advice please!

My 6 month old is a high maintenance baby. He does this awful constant whine if he’s not got attention or being stimulated which is incredibly stressful on its own. Add a 2 year old into the mix who also needs a lot of attention and stimulation, I feel like i’m drowning. My 2 year old is having behavioural issues (hitting, throwing etc.) because he’s not getting his energy out. Our days are spent in the house, as my 6 month old hates the pushchair and carrier. I feel so bad for my 2 year old, he has so much energy to get out and he’s not able to indoors. I don’t know what to do

Baby only sleeps 20 minutes at a time so we can’t get a good chunk of time to let that energy out

Toddler toys

My son just turned two and I’m looking for toys for him since he outgrew a few. He has a slide, swing bike so all outside toys you can think of. Now I’m trying to upgrade toys inside that will help with his development, imagination and keep him busy. We don’t really have a lot of room but if it’s a good toy we can make it fit. Or it doesn’t even need to be considered a toy it could be a table something I’m just very overwhelmed looking at toys for him and don’t know where to start. He’s into Spider-Man, Scooby doo, Mickey and loves to play with his spidey figures, playdoh, loves to use his target shopping cart and monster trucks/ cars.
