How did you get through newborn times and being alone? My postpartum anxiety has been crazy and when my baby cries I get so overwhelmed rn. In a week I am going to be alone as a SAHM and am feeling so nervous and unprepared for what’s to come. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also if any of you are pumping moms, how do you pump while caring for baby?

Try to stick as close to a schedule as possible makes your day just a bit more predictable. Also when I was pumping I’d wake up before I knew it would be time for my baby to eat to gather my pump stuff and get started pumping as well as my babies bottle and have that all ready. Usually I’d either be closed to finishing pumping or would finish pumping a few minutes before my baby would wake up. If you know you have activities outside the house try to plan around your pumping and babies feeding schedule so that you can pump and baby eats right before leaving the house so it’s one less thing to worry about if it’s a quick errand run or things like that. Also at the beginning while still getting adjusted I would make my life easier by doing grocery pick up. Honestly it’s all trial and error and just playing around until you figure out what works for you and your baby. And be sure to give yourself grace. If all you did that day was take care of baby and yourself you still accomplished alot

My kid was a stage 5 clinger. So I got a carrier. I should have bought the comfortable expensive tula, I did the second time and barely used it 🙄 lots of tv on in the background or music or something cause the silence was driving me nuts. And trying to find some sort of group around if possible or at minimum walking around the block

Agree with schedule helped me!!
Her last 2 sentence!!! I can’t scream that enough!! If you fed yourself and the baby you did a great job!!
Be easy on yourself.

Whitby my 1st, i pumped in the morning, with the wall pump, before my wife went to work. Then my second pump would be a wearable. My 3rd session would be the wall pump. My wife bought me extras so that I didnt have to clean any pump parts. She bagged all of my milk before she came to bed and washed the bottle. In the morning she cleaned and sanitized all parts I used and replenished my snack tray so I was good for the day while she was at work. I always have the diaper bag packed- 4 diapers minimum. 2 change of clothes, socks, burp cloth, pack of wipes, diapers cream, sunscreen, sunhat, bag of snacks for myself. This way I felt less overwhelmed with getting everything ready? And it meant I was more likely to leave the house. I also made overnight oats everynight so that i ate well in the morning. Lots of bodyarmor, coconut water, and protein snacks. I got a baby carrier and wore her around the house to clean. I never tried to be quiet either. I didnt try to stick to a set schedule.
IT'S ONE FKING THING AFTER ANOTHER AND I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE
I slammed the door shut today and I said "NO MORE STUFF" because I couldn't take it anymore. My 3.5yo kept pushing and pushing for one more toy and to do this and do that and I literally fucking lost my cool
That is all

What freebies are people finding? I plan on getting a lot of things from car boots and baby markets to help with costs but if there’s anything else i’d appreciate hearing about them! xx

My 4 month old will only contact nap.
She sleeps in her next to me at night with a love to dream swaddle but during the day will only contact nap, she won't nap if we're out and not often sleeps in her pram.
I always tried to put her down but since 6 weeks old, everytime I put her down she would wake up and not go back to sleep.
How has everyone else done it because I would like to get stuff done now while shes asleep.
She's a velcro baby during the day anyway so I dont get time for anything till my husband comes home.

So I have a little girl my first born was a little boy. I’ve noticed when I clean her she still has a lot of the white stuff from when she was born in her bits. Is this normal?

Anyone made the switch from boob to bottle and if so how did it go?
Baby has also had formula from week 1 but is pretty inconsistent with it and prefers the boob especially when tired. But I’m done with breastfeeding and wondering how others have made the switch?
