Anyone made the switch from boob to bottle and if so how did it go?
Baby has also had formula from week 1 but is pretty inconsistent with it and prefers the boob especially when tired. But I’m done with breastfeeding and wondering how others have made the switch?

I have, similar to you baby had bottle and formula or expressed once a day early on. You can call NCT or breastfeeding association for guidance to do it gradually, express a lil off. My lactation consultant told me: take 1-2 lemsip a day helps diminish supply, ibuprofen over the 24 hrs 3 lots, reduces inflammation, cool compresses galore, u can feed as much or as little as u like as u go, try not to stimulate the breast. I got engorged, it settled and milk seemed to come back after a week the body fought hard and so would let my LO have a brief feed to ease it n ducts. Took a week n half to settle - all good now and didn't get mastitis x
Good luck
Maybe line good things up for urself in 3-4 wks as hormones will drop
Like massage

I probably put him to breast 3 -4 times was like cold turkey

Oh thats tough, think coz I had low milk supply mine may have liked the ready supply and has been OK
Hope those organisations can help ya x

I breastfed for a little bit and then swapped over to pumping and using my expressed breast milk in a bottle first to help get used to the bottle my little one then new it was the same milk before we then introduced formula
Small changes first rather than lots of change all at once see to work for us
Hope this helps x
my partners son has come down for the week, he’s almost 6 and still in a high back booster, is this normal? the straps are so so tight on him we struggle to get him in and out and i’m worried it’s squeezing his privates, he is also complaining of it being so uncomfortable. are we able to put him in a booster seat?

My daughter is 2 years and 5 months. She usually falls asleep on her own without any tears or complain but unfortunately she wakes up around 1am every night and would not go back into a deep sleep until 6am. I am honestly tired and confused if I am the only parent suffering from this and if am not then please speak up. 😭😭😭😭

What freebies are people finding? I plan on getting a lot of things from car boots and baby markets to help with costs but if there’s anything else i’d appreciate hearing about them! xx

So I have a little girl my first born was a little boy. I’ve noticed when I clean her she still has a lot of the white stuff from when she was born in her bits. Is this normal?

My 4 month old will only contact nap.
She sleeps in her next to me at night with a love to dream swaddle but during the day will only contact nap, she won't nap if we're out and not often sleeps in her pram.
I always tried to put her down but since 6 weeks old, everytime I put her down she would wake up and not go back to sleep.
How has everyone else done it because I would like to get stuff done now while shes asleep.
She's a velcro baby during the day anyway so I dont get time for anything till my husband comes home.
