Would you say I was being rude?

So our stay at an Airbnb was ending in an hour. I did most of the tidying ( as per request or the host, who said they don’t have cleaners so they don’t charge cleaning fees so we need to keep the place as it was before we entered when we leave).

And then I did the most tidying, packing, and placing things in the car as he can’t lift heavy as he says he’s in pain. And the kids 3&5 started entering the rooms I cleaned and made up the bed ( to jump on the bed). I was getting stressed so I told him to get the kids out or he will do the beds again as I have already done them.

He said you don’t need to be rude…

Idk, because I don't know how you said it 😂 but if he was doing fuck all while you tidied AND dealt with the kids maybe he deserved you being rude 🤷🏼‍♀️

Early in my marriage, I was at a pizza place and witnessed an interaction between a couple with a young daughter at another table. The mom seemed irritable and the dad seemed clueless as to why. At one point she left for the bathroom to come back and she noticed something, then looked at him responding with what seemed like an exaggerated “why would you eat that??” I assumed he ate the pizza off her plate or maybe the last piece of something that she planned to eat or that she communicated not to eat. Though my honest impression at the time was that she was overreacting.

After several years of marriage, I still think about that interaction and now… I get it. I don’t even know exactly why she said that to him, but I still understand why she was upset. She was exhausted, frustrated and miserable in a way I didn’t understand as a newly married, children free woman. But now 3 kids deep, I get it.

Washing up vent LOL

Nothing pisses me off more than when I wash up & tidy the kitchen & my child's father (we're not together, just co parenting until I can move out) sees the empty & clean sink & leaves dirty plates in there again 😤😤😤

If he appreciated me cleaning up, surely he would just wash up after himself? 🙄 Can't fucking wait until the council processes my application so I can start bidding & hopefully it doesn't take too long to get a council place so I can move the fuck out😠🤬

Lunch ideas for out and about?

What are your go to lunches for out and about?

At home I find it relatively okay but hard on days out. He’s not a huge bread fan so usually I do some ham, cucumber sticks, fruit and a yogurt. But he’s dairy free so it’s the pouch yogurts and I worry they are too high in sugar.

Does your baby let you feed him/her weetabix or porridge in the morning?

My baby wants to grab the spoon and makes such a mess. I prefer to feed him breakfast as it gets sooo messy.
