Someone help!!
The hospital did an abdominal ultrasound and said the gestational sac is measuring 6 weeks and that my hcg levels were high. Sounds all good right? But then they said they couldn’t find a fetal pole and instantly said I was most likely miscarrying. I haven’t had any pregnancy symptoms either….i need some encouraging stories that had the same news but still had a healthy pregnancy and baby!!!

I have also had no bleeding or cramping. Just no pregnancy symptoms and the test I took yesterday, the line was barely visible.
I didn’t even know I was pregnant for 6 months… 🤦🏻♀️
Sending lots of love and light! I am sorry I dont have any similar experience to share. I lost my first son at 39.5 weeks and there are no words for the shock and pain and grief you are feeling right now. I am here if you need someone to talk to! Big big hugs mama!!
While it can be a sign of early loss it can very well also just mean that you ovulated late. Did they schedule a follow up scan or are you going to take pregnancy tests every couple days to track darkening lines?
I didn't think that they could even detect a heartbeat until at least 7 weeks....seems odd that they would suggest you were having a miscarriage. Have you spoken to your midwife? Is there a reason why you had such an early scan? They usually only give you one for bleeding or unusual pain
My doctor did same thing I called them to confirm positive test went in and they confirmed with there test then schedule a week later for my ultrasound and it was transvaginal and it said I was super early the tech said then they schedule me back in a week what I could see on screen said about 5weeks but she was putting words fetal pole and question mark with it then I looked online for results and it said pending miscarriage well my doctor never called to tell me anything and then i ended very sad bleeding and lost baby and i had to have a D and c that night im still super upset about it but it's like my doctor knew and didn't call me to come in or anything so I really hope and pray for better outcome for you!
This is absolutely horrible and I am so sorry that this was your experience!!! Your doctor should have done better for you!!
Whenever I felt a bit anxious especially in early pregnancy I would book a private scan and found they were so much more thorough and could give more info especially earlier on (assuming you are UK based). The money was definitely worth it for peace of mind so not sure if that could help xx

C section date
I got my planned c section date today, the consultant wanted to book me in for 39+2 but I insisted on 40 weeks exactly. I didn't want to give birth earlier than necessary and both my children were born 41 weeks exactly (1 spontaneous labour 1 induced). I'm just panicking a bit now I've only ever had emergency sections, how likely is it that I will go into labour early? Did I make the wrong decision should I ask to change the date. TIA

Has anyone else considered trying to check their own cervix? 😅 or getting husband to check. I’m just so curious if anything is happening yet! 🤣 I can’t be the only one

Combined epidural and spinal?
I had a spinal with my first which was an emergency c section.
I'm aiming for a vbac this time but can't go beyond 39 weeks so have an elective booked for then and I'm also open to the fact the vbac might also result in a c section.
At my last consultant appointment he mentioned the possibility of doing a combined epidural and spinal which I hadn't considered.
I've been reading up on it and think it might be a good option but wondered if anyone has had one and what your experience was?

C sections
I’ve opted for an elective section this time round, due to a difficult natural birth last time, can someone help ease my anxiety?! You hear all the horror stories but not the ones that are positive
