He was sooo tired I couldn’t keep him up a second longer

Not necessarily. It happened to me few times when I had to put baby to sleep after 6pm and he would sleep 12 hrs 🤷‍♀️ I might add , he doesn’t do 12hrs normally ☺️

New born trenches

Now I know what people mean when they talk about the newborn trenches. My baby is 1 month old and I haven't had any issues regarding sleeping at night except night feeds until tonight.
I have mastitis feel so unwell I haven't been able to go to the doctor yet, my baby slept the whole day and is now refusing to sleep and feeding every hour. I am running off 3 hours sleep in the past 48 hours.
My whole body is aching every single joint is agony even my fingers and the worst thing about it is they tell you to get enough sleep and rest for mastitis..
Can anyone relate to me

Sleep bag to duvet & pillow

What age did you transition your babies from sleep bags to a duvet and pillow?

I think I just need to vent.

My baby is 11 months and I still BF, even for naps and bedtime and the middle of the night, he wakes up multiple times... My in laws are coming soon so my husband will take vacation from work so we can take them to know the city and different places, etc. They wont be staying with us so I told my husband I want to use those nights to stop BF during the night so I'll be sleeping in the other room and he can be with the baby and make him to sleep rocking him or as he can... Now he is complaining that then he is not gonna sleep because of that and he is the one that will be driving the next day. Am I being irracional? For 11 months I have done it, and I'm the one waking up and sleeping in a uncomfortable position and with back pain. I don't ask him to so it on regular weekdays because I know he needs to be rested to work the next day.

Staying awake at night

It’s incredibly difficult to stay awake while breastfeeding the baby at night. Sometimes I fall asleep with him on my chest and it’s so dangerous. I don’t know how to avoid it but I also have to keep him on my chest after feeds due to reflux.

Sleep regression

I fear I was being far too smug as my LO was only having 30 min naps in the day and I thought we weren’t hit too hard by the regression…. The last 2 nights she’s been waking what feels every 45mins/1hour upset and won’t settle unless she’s breastfed. This is haaaarddddcore!! Any advice/tips please! 🙏
For those of you who seem to be coming out the other side of it how long did the awful nights last 😅🤞🏼
