I have my 12 week scan tomorrow, and I am really anxious for it! I had an early scan at 6weeks+1 and all was well and baby had a heart beat etc. I feel like it’s taken forever to get to the 12 week mark and now I’m so so anxious about it, I’m worried something is going to be wrong.
Any advice to try and feel less anxious would be greatly appreciated x

Please don’t worry, I too experienced the same . Even I had 6weeks scan before and Been gone through some of the instagram pages where they are saying some worst stuff. I felt anxious and thinking about that . I had a 12 week scan on yesterday, everything is normal . Baby is active . Evrything will be alright mate . Don’t worry

I’ve felt anxious every scan, it sounds silly but I just repeat to myself that it’s going to be okay, because ultimately in your gut you sort of know it’s going to be

Snap! I have mine as well. I totally get how you are feeling. The anxiety is awful and it’s been with me for week. I just keep trying to remind myself that it’s out of my control and I keep trying to focus on seeing my baby moving about. This is my second pregnancy and I’m more anxious than the first time for some reason. Hope it all goes ok. 🥰

It’s completely normal to feel that way, i am always anxious before every scan and every appointment.
So I’m 38 + 1 weeks and they have said they will be inducing me on my due date if my sweeps aren’t successful.
I went for one yesterday, my midwife said no chance of a sweep as my bodies not ready after checking and said we can try next week.
I’m a tad nervous they are going to have to induce me, in case it just makes birthing 10x worse. Has anyone had any issues when being induced?

I was previously a TA and found out in the summer holidays I was pregnant after accepting a new job in September in a nursery.
It’s only my second day and I’m struggling so much! I’m waiting to tell them after my 12 week scan in another week’s time but I’m so exhausted. I can’t do any nappies or many jobs until my 3 month probation is up so I’m just sat with the children not doing much feeling so sick! Has anyone been in a similar position before?

I’m 11 weeks pregnant today and only just had my booking appointment on Monday this week. My midwife said my 12-week scan should show on my Badger Notes app within 24 hours, but nothing has appeared yet 😕 Has anyone else had this happen? How long did it take for your scan appointment to come through? Just getting a little anxious as I’m conscious I’m already 11 weeks and don’t want to miss the window for the 12-week scan!

I fully believe moms dont know tmi anymore. But on a serious note, pls help. Ever since I was about 7 weeks postpartum, cause I bled for 6 weeks straight, I have had many a problem. I used to have hypothyroidism but now I have hyperthyroidism and they're making me see a specialist before giving me new meds so I have insomnia and fatigue with a 7 month old who's teething off and on and just got outta surgery about a week ago.
One of my current concerns is actually that I'll be 7 months postpartum like tomorrow on the 3rd and I have so so so much discharge on the daily. It soaks a pair of underwear within half the day if not sooner. I'm about to make an appointment with my new ob cause the last one just ignored it. Told me it was normal.
My main concern as of rn is my bowels. I used to shit once or twice a week. Now I shit daily, normally. But it has mucus and occasionally blood. Not like oh my butthole ripped, nope it's in the poop not on it. It's not dark stool so it's not that bad of bleeding yet. But I have had constipation to the point my hemorrhoids from giving birth are coming back. I can feel the poop by pressing on my stomach.
Over the past few months I've had times I almost went to the hospital bc I felt like I was in active labor again. Not early, active. On the floor, gasping, holding my sides, my stomach, my back, anything to make the pain stop. I've tried three laxatives. One didn't work, another didn't work unless I took the max amount and it was actually just a stool softener not a laxative cause apparently there's a difference, the other is one of the many times I almost went to the hospital.
They tried once to schedule me for a colonoscopy but I refused to take another laxative pill after it tried to murder me. I go back to that doctor but it's a different man, younger, dismissive, ready to get me out of there.
Is this just postpartum?? Am I allowed to get rude with these ppl?? I feel like after all that plus the traumatic birth I went through it would be justified.
I will say I love my new ob, she's a doll. Kinda rude how they were so quick to treat my thyroid problems when I was pregnant but not when I'm not pregnant.
