I was 3cm when my waters got broken & contractions started right away! Fingers crossed for you!π€π»

I think itβs different for everyone. They broke my waters and nothing happened so had the drip, but I was only 4. Fingers crossed for you lovely! Xx

Mine broke and straight away it started she was born 6 hours later.
Praying for you ππ»

I was in early labour but had my waters broken which instantly brought my contractions closer and more intense. I was 2-3cm so it may just be the thing that tips you into active labour

Thanks ladies, i feel a bit more confident about it now. Ive only had spontaneous labours previously, but this baby is refusing to leave π xxx
People who have been induced in their first pregnancies, how long did it take from starting the process to going into labour? Was the experience as horrific as all the social media posts i see online?
Im supposed to be induced at 38 weeks and absolutely shitting bricks that its going to be a difficult process because my body just wont be ready.

So Iβm 38 + 1 weeks and they have said they will be inducing me on my due date if my sweeps arenβt successful.
I went for one yesterday, my midwife said no chance of a sweep as my bodies not ready after checking and said we can try next week.
Iβm a tad nervous they are going to have to induce me, in case it just makes birthing 10x worse. Has anyone had any issues when being induced?

I fully believe moms dont know tmi anymore. But on a serious note, pls help. Ever since I was about 7 weeks postpartum, cause I bled for 6 weeks straight, I have had many a problem. I used to have hypothyroidism but now I have hyperthyroidism and they're making me see a specialist before giving me new meds so I have insomnia and fatigue with a 7 month old who's teething off and on and just got outta surgery about a week ago.
One of my current concerns is actually that I'll be 7 months postpartum like tomorrow on the 3rd and I have so so so much discharge on the daily. It soaks a pair of underwear within half the day if not sooner. I'm about to make an appointment with my new ob cause the last one just ignored it. Told me it was normal.
My main concern as of rn is my bowels. I used to shit once or twice a week. Now I shit daily, normally. But it has mucus and occasionally blood. Not like oh my butthole ripped, nope it's in the poop not on it. It's not dark stool so it's not that bad of bleeding yet. But I have had constipation to the point my hemorrhoids from giving birth are coming back. I can feel the poop by pressing on my stomach.
Over the past few months I've had times I almost went to the hospital bc I felt like I was in active labor again. Not early, active. On the floor, gasping, holding my sides, my stomach, my back, anything to make the pain stop. I've tried three laxatives. One didn't work, another didn't work unless I took the max amount and it was actually just a stool softener not a laxative cause apparently there's a difference, the other is one of the many times I almost went to the hospital.
They tried once to schedule me for a colonoscopy but I refused to take another laxative pill after it tried to murder me. I go back to that doctor but it's a different man, younger, dismissive, ready to get me out of there.
Is this just postpartum?? Am I allowed to get rude with these ppl?? I feel like after all that plus the traumatic birth I went through it would be justified.
I will say I love my new ob, she's a doll. Kinda rude how they were so quick to treat my thyroid problems when I was pregnant but not when I'm not pregnant.
