Do you really get down on the floor to play with your baby (not crawling yet) for more than 2 mins? It's so uncomfortable for me and also I don't know how to play with my young baby for more than 2mins at a time!?

Depends how interactive they are. My baby is 7 weeks so not really at this point. I played with my oldest on the floor once he was reacting and especially once he could sit up. I got a floor cushion to sit on, and a squishy mat (we have hardwood) and half the time I'd just lay down.

I did tummy time on my bed most of the time. Or he laid on top of me I have really bad hips and knees so its hard for me to get up off the floor

Yes I used to do it. Now not anymore because I m heavily pregnant. I invest in a very good play carpet I can easily fold and store under the sofa + good pillow on the sofa I put on the floor with us. Also, most of the time you don't have to do much. Just stay present, talk, sing, hang out with the baby and follow his lead. You don't have to stay for 2 yours especially when hey are young. 10-15min is good enough 🤗

Can you put them up on a table or couch? I used to do that. We had a circular baby blanket thing that we would lay out on the table and just chat, show her toys, and play. At that age since they're not moving around much, they don't really have to be on the "floor" for floor time - any free movement time that is not container-restricted will do.

I spend hours on the floor. Most of the day actually. But I’ve noticed it’s started to really hurt my foot. I think it’s because I have my legged crossed and I’m always leaning on it?! Not sure

That was the best time for me to lie there next to him and do my hip thrusts and toe taps in the process of strengthening my pelvic floor and toning my tummy while he’s whacking his toys. It got a whole lot harder when he started crawling and hence crawling all over me but I’d put him on my shins and do aeroplanes, up and down etc. he loved it, benefited me too. When he’s had enough he crawls off and goes does his own thing. Sometimes I get up sometimes I keep going w my toe taps. And then my friends ask me how I manage to jump on a trampoline without leaking pee 😅 LOTS of hip thrusts and toe taps did it. Mostly I don’t have any trouble on the floor though.
What age did you transition your babies from sleep bags to a duvet and pillow?

It’s incredibly difficult to stay awake while breastfeeding the baby at night. Sometimes I fall asleep with him on my chest and it’s so dangerous. I don’t know how to avoid it but I also have to keep him on my chest after feeds due to reflux.

What’s the earliest time you would start the day when baby wakes?

Ok, something I have never thought I’d have to post and ask. But idk what to do. I get exploration is normal at this age, (just turned 2 a month ago) and at first it was digging in his diaper. But then at bath he keeps sticking his fingers in his butt hole, and not just a little. I caught him the other day about to try to put a toy in there. I continue to tell him that is ouchy and can get sick or hurt as he obviously still sticks his hands in his mouth as well. I also tell him that he can play with his toes or belly button instead but he just ignores me. I’m worried he is going to hurt himself among other things.
Anyone else’s child did/does this? Will he just stop one day? Any solutions? I’m at a loss here 🫠

I’m fully aware babies still need lots of contact naps at the moment, however when I try and transfer him he just wakes instantly and if my partner does, he continues to sleep! Anyone else experiencing this, it’s so frustrating

Any Kendamil mums here? Please help 😩
Has anyone else recently been having trouble getting Kendamil formula to dissolve properly?
No matter how carefully I prepare it, I’m still seeing quite a lot of undissolved particles/residue in the bottle. I’ve contacted Kendamil and they’ve reassured me that it’s normal and safe, but I’d really love to hear from other mums actually using it.
Is yours dissolving completely, or are you noticing the same thing with the newer tins/batches?
Please tell me I’m not the only one because I feel like I’m going crazy over this milk 😭😂
