Okay y/n have the baby in Ontario and drive across country home to Alberta aprox. 3000km ?

Why on earth would you go to Alberta to have a baby
I’d say closer the better because anything can happen. I went to the hospital multiple times for false labor lol
Do you live in Alberta or TO? If you live in TO packing up everything with a fresh newborn to drive to Alberta sounds stressful for everyone. Why not move before hand and give birth there? Or stay where you are. I get your husband’s family is there, where is yours though? Who’s more likely to offer support during postpartum?
Where ever yoy plan /want to be after baby gets here is where I would go! Moving with a newborn will be beyond stressful! I am planning a move with an almost one year old and that has been soo stressfu l - a newborn would be so much worse!
Newborns can only be in the car seat for up to 30 mins before needing a break so that’d be an incredibly longer and more inconvenient drive than it already is, if that helps your decision!x

Gender scan wrong
Has anyone been for a gender scan and been told girl then later found out a boy? I don’t know what it is but I’ve got a massive feeling this is going to happen to me and keep seeing posts about it happening? Unsure how common it is tho. I had my gender scan at 16+2, NHS gender scan is next week, I’ll be 20+5 💙💗

Growth Scan accuracy?
Went for a growth scan today at 39w and I was told baby is measuring 9lb 9oz at 39w. The sonographer did explain because of baby being head down the weight estimate is based off the femur and stomach measurements and might not be accurate because the head measurement wasn’t possible. Has this happened to anyone else?

Nausea in healthcare
Any pregnant moms work in healthcare? I’m a dental hygienist at 8 weeks and struggling with how to professionally handle nausea and new overwhelming smell sensitivities while working. Any tips to help? I can’t hide too strong of smells in my mask to distract since patients would notice. I’ve been trying Morning Sickness Sweets by Pinkstork which have mildly been taking the edge off, but would love to get more advice or recs.

Any suggestions please? Casey is my number 1 however husband is not on board, we also like Riley and Oakley so I’m seeing a theme and wondering if there’s any others that fit 🥰
