I’m 6 weeks post partum and I haven’t breastfed at all, is it too late to try? If not any tips / tricks would be recommended

latch latch latch latch latch!🤣 the best way to encourage milk production is to get baby latched! people have relactated after months so I definitely don’t think it’s too late to try! also i’ve heard coconut milk/water (i can’t remember which) is good for lactation. also, if you’re in the UK, the NHS have lactation consultants who can help! your health visitor can refer you xx

talk to the health visitor! I fed my son twice in hospital then switched to pumped milk, 3 weeks ago we started breastfeeding. obviously not the same as relactating but I didn't think a breastfeeding journey would be possible for me but it was, so I would try if thats what you want!

It's possible but it's going to be really difficult. We know from research that feeding in those first days is crucial to switch on the milk making cells. Once there turned on it's much easier to relactate. The other issue you may have is that baby might not know how to latch. I would head to a breastfeeding peer support group or speak to a lactation consultant for the best hands on help

Free NB and size 1 diapers (Milly Moon) and free formula (Similac ready to feed and Kendamil) for any new moms or soon to be new moms.

Hello! My new born is growing quickly and grew out of his NB and size 1 diapers. I would prefer to give it to a mother in need or soon to be mother in need than throw out or take it back to target so they can toss it.

Some diapers are out of the box but unused obviously, and the formula my baby needed but his tummy worked better with Bobbie Formula so we have a bunch of Kendamil I bought before he came and a bunch of Ready to Feed Similac.

I live in Chino, CA. If you're interested in it I am willing to give it to a fellow mommy or soon to be mommy.

Baby moisturisers

Are you putting moisturiser on your babies/ toddlers? I never did as neither my oldest or youngest has particularly dry skin. If so do you have any recommendations?

Heartbroken 💔

I need advice please. So my little girl is off to school.
And I've slowly been realising more and more that I think I might be a one and done mama.
And my heart is breaking. I knew being a mama was never going to be easy but I never expected it to be this hard. I have always wanted a big family. Thought I was going to be the big hands on mum but my mental health got bad and then worse and have been on anti depressants since my daughter was born.
My heart and soul is screaming at me to have more children. But my mental health... especially during my luteal phase cannot cope.
I dont know if I want advice or just someone to talk to about all of this.

I am not coping 😢

I am struggling to since I found out im pregnant with my second.

I dont feel any connection to this baby and dont feel pregnant, i have most days were I feel sick and just exhausted and cant do much and feel guilty for my 15 month old daughter.

I had a scan and turns out I was 9 weeks instead of 12 weeks and that just made me feel worse, I thought once I saw a heartbeat id feel better but I didn't. I dont want to even talk about the pregnancy or even tell anyone about it anymore.

I also am having a hard time dealing with my daughter, shes at a stage where she throws everything and started hitting the tv and stares at me while doing it and I just dont know how to stop her.
Im also not feeling connected to her anymore and struggling everyday to play with her and give her attention. It sounds bad but i doom scroll all day cause I dont feel anything 😢😢😢
