Disabled toilets

Am I an asshole for feeling fully entitled to using the disabled toilets when out and about in the third trimester? šŸ˜… only when it’s empty… I would always let someone else go first, but like, when you’ve gotta go you’ve really gotta go…

No definitely not! You use them if you need to. I would!

If there isn’t another loo available, then when you gotta go, you gotta go!

I mean if there’s no other toilet available then yea use it but if there are other toilets and you can use them I wouldn’t use the disabled as there’s usually only one

I use it because they usually sit up higher and it make it easier to get up and down and sometimes when I'm constipated the only thing that works is using one of the ones that sit up high like that

If I don’t see a person in a wheelchair or look disabled, Im using it & they gonna have to wait

You say you only use it when it’s empty and my weird brain was like ā€˜I should hope so!!’ lol I had visions of you strolling in when someone was already on it šŸ˜…

It’s not a disabled toilet. It’s technically an accessible toilet so it’s for anyone who has accessible needs. I’m disabled myself although mostly invisible illnesses and need to use it for the supports.

The way I see it is during pregnancy you get a weaker bladder. The way that varies from someone who has a medical condition that causes a weak bladder is that ours improve (mostly) after giving birth.

The toilet is there for being who need the accessibility and if you need to use it then use it.

My main problem is when groups of people (mostly teenagers) use it as a gathering place to all pee together etc. just be respectful

Told my husband I’m leaving him

He refuses to stop having an inappropriate relationship with his ā€œbest friendā€ who is a woman that has repeatedly told both of us she does not like me, she does not want to be my friend, and she is waiting for me to leave so she can be with my husband. She makes weird comments in front of him about how good she is in bed, and she enables his bad behaviors that damage our family.

I have asked him to stop talking to her but he says nothing is going on. I said this is about respect. He said he’s known her longer than me, and I’m just being petty and jealous over nothing.

I said he always picks her side over mine, always goes to her instead of me, and frankly I’m over it. I’m the wife and this is not a competition. If he cannot respect our marriage and continues to have an emotional affair with this woman I will leave.

He told me to go. šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ I am so angry rn.

Yesterday was horrible

So yesterday really tested me because come to afternoon my daughter would not go down to nap and when I did get her down and put her in her cot about five to ten minutes later she would wake up crying, I couldn't settle her at all, rock in my arms meant pinching and jerking her arms about, screaming till red in the face, put her in the cot to calm down the both of us, she cried like never before, gave her a bottle around half seven, fought her to sleep as she would not go in the moses basket, her bouncy chair or her play mat, ate my dinner cold and crying. So I took upstairs after an hour, she went for it then, so I took her temperature they say on the NHS website it's under the arms so it came back with a temperature I wasn't sure what to do, I just wanted to give her Calpol and get to bed, 111 did us an out of hour apparently and apparently she's either got the start of a bug, cutting her first tooth or having a off day, so yeah now I feel like I overreacted. Had my neighbour over helping and I am now sat here feeling like an idiot

Advice on circumcision! Please no hateful comments.

Me and my partner are due our little boy anytime. When we found out we were having a boy he did say that he wanted him to be circumcised. I’m white British and he is black british - Nigerian. I asked him what his reasoning was and he said because he was and I explained that because it’s something completely new to me that he would need to do some research and come back to me etc. I spoke with his mum and friends who have had their little boys done in regards to this and did do my own research too in the meantime. It was never a complete no for me and completely respect his background and culture and open to discussing all options, however it was something that I felt controversial on due to being a first time mum and being worried if something did go wrong.
Since, nothing has been mentioned, apart from a conversation about 8 weeks ago where he said to just leave it, I said to him I’m not saying no, I just need more of an understanding and for his reasoning for it doing to be valid too and that we’d look into it together. I’m 37 weeks today and no further conversation has been had, I’m wondering whether to still mention it, or just leave it as if it was something he was so adamant on wanting then for me he would have gone and done the research as I know they say it’s best to do it once baby is newborn. Any advice on where to go from here as I’m slightly anxious I’m going to end up being the blame for it not being done and I know his mum was quite pushy for it too. I just don’t want it to come across like I was a straight no and was being disrespectful to their culture, it was more I wanted him to fully understand the process of it too and as a parent you need to go and research these things beforehand.

BLW finger foods

My baby has just turned 6 months and we’ve gone straight in with finger foods, just like I did with my eldest about 2 years ago. I don’t remember my oldest gagging as much as my 6 month old just did? I know to an extent it’s normal but he coughed up pretty much the whole of what I’d just given him. I don’t really want to go down the puree route, I had a friend who struggled to get her baby to chew after purĆ©es, do i stick with it or give him a bit more time?

Am I overthinking?

I have caught a sickness bug off my 2 year old and really struggling at the moment as I also have a 6 month old baby and my partner is working long shifts. I have been offered a hand from my in laws to take my toddler for a few hours whilst I try and get some rest but feel very 50/50 as in my head I do not want anyone assuming I don’t look after my kids when I have them 100% of the time. Probably just sound silly even thinking this, what’s your opinion?
