At my growth scan I was already told that our baby literally has no room to move (his legs and feet are up by his face). He has a 96th percentile belly as well and I was told his movement might feel painful. However, last night around 8pm I noticed an indent in the upper part of my bump. I ran my hand over my belly gently and when I reached the skin on the right side of my belly button... It felt like my skin was ripped open and I was rubbing broken glass over it. My poor husband thought I went into labour because I was almost in tears, just wanted to know if anyone else ever has gone through this. I know during my growth scan, I had to sit up a few times because I got out of breath with the weight of the baby. Photo to not get lost and one of many painful positions the baby likes.
I keep telling myself only 5 days left till my elective 😅😭

My baby was >99% the entire pregnancy and never felt that. I don’t know if it’s related to size or just your body getting ready for the end.

I carried an 11lb over the 99th centile baby and never had this! So I wouldn’t necessarily put it down to size x

You could have a hernia. I would ask your doctor about it.

I did but mine was eventually stretched skin & harmless rash that went away on its own (can’t remember the name, looked awful like raised stretch marks/hives). Baby girl was 98th H/AC/F and I had 2.5L of water so a massiveee round solid bump for my frame. She also came out 10.5lbs so they weren’t wrong on my scan haha
Let’s see those beautiful little bumps! 🤰🏽✨ Whether you’re barely showing or already popping, drop a bump pic and let’s celebrate our growing babies together! 🍼🫶🏽

I went for my scan with window to the womb and had calculated to be exactly 7 weeks from last period but in the scan they said it’s a pregnancy of unknown location and the small sac they can see, they can’t confirm if it’s a very early gestational sac or a pseudosac and have referred my to the hospital for bloods.
Has anyone had anything like this?
Not feeling very positive atm

I'm almost 6 weeks pregnant and started light bleeding a few days ago and happen most in day not in night. My hospital ultrasound isn't until next week and I'm really stressed about what this could mean. Has anyone else experienced this and how did you cope while waiting?

I had a c-section 2nd August (4 weeks) and the pain did start getting so much better by week 3 where I wasn’t feeling any pain at all and thought I was recovering well. However the last couple days I have been experiencing pain again in my lower tummy. My scar looks and feels fine it’s just the lower part of my tummy that I’m experiencing pain again. The pain feels exactly like how it was right at the start of my recovery!! Anyone else had this?

We went in to see if my placenta had finally moved enough for birth and it has but found out she has now frank breech! The consultant wasn't very helpful. We went to an antenatal class yesterday and the midwife there was much more helpful, she recommended the spinning babies website and some positions we could do to encourage her to spin around. I'm not sure I 100% believe it will help as I'm convinced babies just do what they want in the womb but we will certainly try! Has anyone had any previous pregnancies where bubba has turned back around for 36 weeks?
