Silent reflux or wind ? 😩
My little one is almost 3 weeks old, (still very young so I’m aware his digestive tract is developing) But the past few days I’ve had no sleep at all due to him being in discomfort, especially at night. He has a feed (formula fed) and struggles to burp but eventually does. I keep him upright for at least 30mins. When I put him down, he grunts and squirms and eventually cries. I’m wondering if this is a silent reflux issue (for which he’ll likely need gaviscon) or trapped wind ( he’d need Dentinox / Infacol)
Some of his main symptoms:
- lots of farting, he squirms and cries and will eventually fart
- he gulps and gasps during a feed ( I do burp him in between) he finishes his bottle happily
- he often makes a sour face after a feed and swallows in discomfort
Any advice on what this could be?

It could be a mixture of both. Does he ever have a small bit of sour smelling spit up or does he seem like he’s swallowing something when laid down?
You can always just give infacol as it won’t do any harm but may help with wind and then see if symptoms subside.
We tried gaviscon for my LBs silent reflux but it made him constipated and in worse pain so we’ve been told to stop using it
My 3 week old has this.. we're on kendamil formula so im not sure if its because of that, but ive been giving him infacol which has definitely helped xx

Help please
I have a little boy who’s 5 months spoons and ofc he has found his hands and fingers so night time has been hard bc he will fall asleep fine but wake up with his hands in his mouth and choke we swaddle him at night and I know it’s normal but he won’t sleep bc he get excited over his hands
Any help or ideas of what I can do would be appreciated

IM MORTIFIED!!!
My 5 yr old caught me and my husband having some naughty time. We were both fully clothed vigorously kissing me giving him a handy down his trousers his hands on my boob I look over and my son stood there silent. Neither of us heard him walk up. I'm so embarrassed. He doesn't know what we were doing but it would definitely have look odd to him. My husband just said casually we are having a cuddle. Please tell me this has happened to other people we were in a private space

Long periods of sitting
Help please! I know you can't lie flat on your back but are you allowed to sit propped up in bed leaning back for long periods?
I am so tired this pregnancy I can't sit straight up for very long before I flop back

Cluster feeding? Baby not sleeping
Currently 2 weeks pp with an exclusively breastfed baby. I’m a first time mum and struggling quite a bit with sundown scaries, my baby doesn’t sleep and if she does it’s never peaceful and she grunts and cries in her sleep all night, she feeds every hour but then I have to wait 20 mins for her to be put in her next to me or she’ll wake up but then by the time I’ve got her down she’s due to wake again (she wakes herself up) my midwife said she’s probs snack feeding because she keeps falling asleep at the boob, any tips to keep her awake during feeds so she sleeps for longer? I also think it’s because she knows she’s not jn my arms so she doesn’t sleep

I need some toddler appropriate consequences for not listening/following instructions
To add to this is it a good idea to reward toddlers for doing what is expected of them ie brushing teeth, eating all their food etc? And at what point do you stop this as I don’t want my child to expect rewards as she gets older for doing things she’s supposed to.
