Currently 2 weeks pp with an exclusively breastfed baby. I’m a first time mum and struggling quite a bit with sundown scaries, my baby doesn’t sleep and if she does it’s never peaceful and she grunts and cries in her sleep all night, she feeds every hour but then I have to wait 20 mins for her to be put in her next to me or she’ll wake up but then by the time I’ve got her down she’s due to wake again (she wakes herself up) my midwife said she’s probs snack feeding because she keeps falling asleep at the boob, any tips to keep her awake during feeds so she sleeps for longer? I also think it’s because she knows she’s not jn my arms so she doesn’t sleep

Have you tried swaddling her overnight? Have you also tried introducing a dummy to see if she’s just feeding for comfort rather than hunger?

My baby always falls asleep on the boob and is exclusively breastfed, sometimes I’m up every hour with him feeding. Grunting/crying could be that they’re settled and asleep but we think they’re awake and so we pick them up and feed- is she definitely awake when you get her out of the next to me?

Honestly mine is the same, the amount of grunting he did last night/this morning- he was fast asleep I was not as I was worrying something was wrong. They definitely know when they’ve been put down don’t they 🙈😂

The love to dream swaddles saved us! She sleeps soundly in them where as before she was just sleeping on one of us and I was pumping them we were doing shifts of who was awake with her!

No tips for getting baby to sleep in their next to me as my little boy does not do that so we've had to embrace co sleeping again (second baby). But in terms of staying awake during a feed, I tickle his feet, quickly rub his head, talk to him etc. Also doing a nappy change once he's fed on one side helps to wake him for the next side. It's so tough though!!

I’m exactly on the same boat. My baby is 10 days old and can only sleep on my arm or she fall asleep in the morning after 6 am in the next to me 🥹😭 I don’t know what to do anymore 😞
Now ik this isn’t a baby question but I really want some sort of bush trimmer (idk how else to word that sorry) I hate shaving because of the itch but it’s just uncomfy if it gets too long. I was looking at the Gillette one but apparently it only works as long as the first charge and then never again. Recommendations please ladies tysm

My mother-in-law wants to come over the day my baby has her first shots since leaving the hospital, and I don’t want her to come over, but her dad says she could help, but I don’t think she could help. Am I wrong? I feel like having her there would only stress me out more because I’m nervous about the shots to begin with. Don’t get me wrong, I love my mother-in-law, but I don’t want someone trying to hold my baby when she’s upset.

Hi everyone,
I’ve been considering going on Mounjaro, but I’m currently breastfeeding and the information when applying says it’s not recommended while breastfeeding. However, my cousin has taken it while breastfeeding and hasn’t had any issues with her milk supply.
Has anyone else taken Mounjaro while breastfeeding? Or has anyone taken the weight loss pill instead of injecting it. I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences and any advice you may have. Thank you! ❤️

Hey, when is the earliest time I can moisturise my baby? I waited couple weeks with my first born and she had really dry skin and eczema.
When do apply oil/cream on newborns. How often? and can I apply anything on their hair or should I? can anyone share their experience please? I feel so anxious I’m not sure when I can. I am planning to give baby a bath on week one. So do I moisturise after that?
