Hi everyone,
I’ve been considering going on Mounjaro, but I’m currently breastfeeding and the information when applying says it’s not recommended while breastfeeding. However, my cousin has taken it while breastfeeding and hasn’t had any issues with her milk supply.
Has anyone else taken Mounjaro while breastfeeding? Or has anyone taken the weight loss pill instead of injecting it. I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences and any advice you may have. Thank you! ❤️

Probably not to do with milk supply probably more so that they don’t know what effects it could have on the baby.
What makes you want to go on it? If you are unhappy with your appearance just give it time and give yourself some grace you’ve just had a baby, also breastfeeding helps you lose weight too. But diet and exercise is the best medicine ☺️

The studies haven't been done to know the affects, I get it but I just don't think it's worth it(would like to go on it myself lol) Before you know it you won't be breastfeeding anymore and you'll be able to xx

There's been a very recent study released within the last week that found it doesn't pass through breastmilk but it was only a sml sample.

I think it’s a contradiction of pregnancy and breastfeeding, best to avoid as the research is very limited xx

I don’t think any respectable pharmacy would prescribe it to you whilst breastfeeding. They just don’t know what effects it has on babies who are breastfed

This is a drug that actively works to stop you feeling hungry, and to slow your digestive system and gastric emptying down. There isn't enough research to show that it isn't transmitted through breastmilk to babies, if it does pass through to babies, the drug would potentially work on them the same way which would be extremely dangerous and could cause growth restriction. That's why it's currently declared as unsafe to use whilst pregnant or breastfeeding. It's not worth the risk.
My mother-in-law wants to come over the day my baby has her first shots since leaving the hospital, and I don’t want her to come over, but her dad says she could help, but I don’t think she could help. Am I wrong? I feel like having her there would only stress me out more because I’m nervous about the shots to begin with. Don’t get me wrong, I love my mother-in-law, but I don’t want someone trying to hold my baby when she’s upset.

Hiya, has anyone used a breast milk collector to collect leaking milk at night? I didn't realise my breast milk was even leaking until I forgot to wear breast pads. The milk had leaked through to my bedsheets.... I'm wondering if a breast milk collector would be good to capture this?

Agitated or overly tired but still not sleep once I put it back in and rub her head. I don’t know what to do at 6am after a feed we’re up for hours and she’s still not sleeping. I’m getting exhausted. Has this happened to anyone?
