Breast milk collector

Hiya, has anyone used a breast milk collector to collect leaking milk at night? I didn't realise my breast milk was even leaking until I forgot to wear breast pads. The milk had leaked through to my bedsheets.... I'm wondering if a breast milk collector would be good to capture this?

Yes I was shocked about how much I collected and stopped having a wet bed šŸ˜‚ but is quite uncomfortable wearing a bra and keeping them on all night but I got cheap ones of amazon probably if you invest more they might be more comfortable to keep on for long periods?

Yesssss!!! Use the milk collector disks from Amazon, I love these because they catch everything so naturally. Or if you want some suction the Haaka works amazing! I used the off brand version and it works just as well!!

Can someone tell me how this works..... if your collecting milk overnight and your LO sleeps for 5 hours lets say, do you keep the milk or do you throw it away?

Is the point to keep the milk or to not leak all through the bed?

Asking for a friend šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļøšŸ˜…

Baby’s 1st shots

My mother-in-law wants to come over the day my baby has her first shots since leaving the hospital, and I don’t want her to come over, but her dad says she could help, but I don’t think she could help. Am I wrong? I feel like having her there would only stress me out more because I’m nervous about the shots to begin with. Don’t get me wrong, I love my mother-in-law, but I don’t want someone trying to hold my baby when she’s upset.

5 month old never sleeps but tonight does?

For the last few weeks he’s been having a hard time getting to sleep at night. He’ll wake up every 15-30 minutes screaming if he does go to sleep. Tonight I gave him one of his toys and bam! Straight to sleep. Is that normal? Should I be doing that more often?

Shaving etc

Now ik this isn’t a baby question but I really want some sort of bush trimmer (idk how else to word that sorry) I hate shaving because of the itch but it’s just uncomfy if it gets too long. I was looking at the Gillette one but apparently it only works as long as the first charge and then never again. Recommendations please ladies tysm

Wipes or cotton wool and water straight from birth

What’s the consensus?

My baby is fighting to sleep. My baby is 5 weeks old she wants to be soothed to sleep in my arms with a dummy, once I put her down she’s wide awake. Or she’ll want a dummy in her mouth in her crib but will keep dropping it out and get

Agitated or overly tired but still not sleep once I put it back in and rub her head. I don’t know what to do at 6am after a feed we’re up for hours and she’s still not sleeping. I’m getting exhausted. Has this happened to anyone?
