Bassinet to sitting up buggy

My boy is 4.5 months and we have trialled the buggy twice because he can sit up well and ours has a bit of an incline anyway but he absolutely hates it, screams and cries as soon as we put him in. I think it’s the idea of being restricted with the straps, we’ve made sure they’re not too tight but he just screams so we’ve continued to use the bassinet because he loves it he’s just getting way too big for it. Luckily he doesn’t have any room to roll in the bassinet but would much rather be on his tummy in it too😂 I would say try it and see if he likes it, mine definitely doesn’t yet🤣

I switched at four months as he had good head control and health visitor said as long as we can see him and the push chair parent faces and also reclines which is does!

He started to reeeallly hate the carrycot as he was nosey and just wanted to see everything. Its made a bit difference and where needed we can just recline and lay him flat! 😊 x

We had to switch at 3 months as we hit 9kg.

Lots of seats are suitable from birth in the reclined position.

If baby is happy in the bassinet and not sitting unaided and is under 9kg no rush though x

I have the same issue. Mine is nearly 9kilo but only 4.5 months. His head control isn't enough yet.

My buggy isn't suitable yet as it doesn't recline flat.

So we're going to outgrow the bassinet before we can use the pushchair because he has to be 6 months for that

It reclines but the seat is bucketed. I.e. doesn't lie flat. So its not great for their hips really.
