Yeah still over a year later. Not to the point my legs give in on me but the numbness sensation

Yep. 8ish weeks later and I’ve no sensation in part of my leg. A section of my foot took a couple weeks so I’m hoping this will eventually come back too

Did they prescribe fragmin or dalteparin injections? That is for blood clot, DVT. Nurse here. Also had CS 10 weeks ago.

I had a section nearly 9 weeks ago and have slight numbness in my left leg but more than anything a pain in the bum cheek when I’m walking which seems to be related somehow

Yea I get it from time to time, it's not complete numbness but like tingling. I laboured for 9/10 hours with epidural then got got an emergency c-section after they tried forceps. I had epidural for some amount of time and my right leg was completely dead the whole time and left was just heavy 😩I still feel it and the back pain. I must have had epidural for 13 hours all together 🙈
My August baby decided she wanted to be a September baby! Liliana made her appearance on Friday at 1:20am via an assisted delivery - my induction and labour was horrific but it was all worth it to have this gorgeous girly in my arms!

Does anyone know if I can give gift bags to nhs staff? My baby was in hospital for a little while (not nicu) when she was born so thought it could be a nice yearly tradition to give some gifts to the staff of the ward to teach my baby about kindness and generosity

One of my biggest cravings has been a roll and bacon with tomato sauce. I go to college and 99% of the time I get a roll for breakfast. Is it petty if I speak to the woman who serves it, she always gives me bits of bacon with no fat and I feel like it ruins the roll. Tbf I’m likely going to throw it up anyway but I really want the fat, it’s the best part.

Just finished folding and putting it away a month of laundry (I’m 4 weeks post partum as of today) while hubby fed some of what I’d pumped to baby - and still need to shower and eat dinner. It’s 12:15 AM 😭
