Literally feels like my vagina is bruised

Has anyone else had this where the best way I can describe it is my vagina feels bruised. I move around or use my leg to move something out of the way then I get a shooting pain down there. Sorry if TMI first time mum so I don't know what's normal.

Could it be a thing called lightening crotch? Maybe Google it, I wouldn't personally describe it as feeling bruised, but it is a shooting pain? I didn't really get it with my first, but with my second I definitely have 😅

When I move it's a shooting pain but if I'm sitting and get up to move or change position it's like an ache/pain 😂 I'm terrible at describing things

Yea my vagina hurts ever since hitting 35 weeks. She is head down and I was like oh she needs to drop soon and my midwife was like, if she drops anymore she is gonna come out 😂

Yeah lots of increased blood flow and pressure can do that!

Yes! Baby is definitely not in my pelvis but I often feel so bruised when I've been sat down or walk! It always seems worse in the evenings for me!

I’ve had this since 10 weeks pregnant and was told it’s pelvic girdle pain (PGP). Midwives all told me that it’s my hormones relaxing and getting ready for birth - it is not relaxing. It’s painful some days more than others and I get it more when I use my right leg. Sadly I have abductor issue too so can’t stretch but Google stretches for PGP and see if that helps.

My vagina feels bruised and it's so difficult to get from sitting to standing, walking, getting in and out of bed etc.. I'm waddling like a duck. I'm pretty sure it's pelvic girdle pain and I have been referred to physio x

4th degree tear VS. C-section

For moms who have had both a 4th degree tear and a C-section? which experience was better? For the birth itself & recovery. I am traumatized after my 4th degree tear but still want more kids in the future. I’m still hurting 7 weeks PP and I don’t even want to chance another severe tear and have been thinking about a planned C-section for future births.
I’m a FTM and had pre-eclampsia and had to be induced and my body was just fighting the induction the whole time. I pushed for 5 hours just to end in a forceps delivery and 4th degree tear🤦🏼‍♀️

How long do you wait for your first appointment.

I contacted the doctors on Friday and they sent a self-referral link Friday afternoon which I completed. I'm still waiting for a call.

Bassinet to sitting up buggy

So my boy is nearly 5 months old and has recently started rolling over onto his stomach so he can watch the world as we are pushing him around a shop

He has great head control and is nearly sitting up by himself

When is the right time to swap from the laying down attachment to the sat up 5 point harness?
