Period-like pain

36+5 weeks today and I keep getting period type pains but there's no pattern or increasing intensity so I'm assuming they're not contractions. My bowels have also been a bit funny the last couple of days, looser than normal. I had nothing like this with my first baby and I'm also suffering with what I assume to be pelvic girdle pain. I have pain in my groin and I'm struggling to stand up, walk and go up and down stairs.

Is this what it's going to be like for the next 3 weeks? Or have people experienced this and labour has followed not long after?

Same!! 37 weeks and I would say this started a week ago.

Lower back pain comes and goes when baby is moving. But i don't think it's the start of labour. I think it's just baby moving lower down.

I'm at a point where I can barely leave the house, because I can't walk. Several times a day I'm in pain too.

I'm hoping it is the start of labour though, because i too cannot handle this for a few more weeks.

I am 38 weeks today and I am having those period type pains since w 36. Midwife said that is normal, body is getting prepared for labour and can take days or weeks.
Pelvic pain also!! Struggling these last weeks tbh!

I’m 39 weeks now and I’d say my groin pain and pelvic girdle pain started about 5 weeks ago at least… it’s so painful, I’m also struggling with standing/walking/stairs… hang in there ❤️

Also if you haven’t tried it yet - I’ve found going to the pool to be relieving whilst I’m in the pool. I can have a little gentle pain free swim and then just float and breathe, pain free!

4D scan 25 weeks anterior placenta

Had a 4D scan today and it was amazing! This is my 4th baby and I can honestly say it still amazes me! His efw is 1lb 12oz 😳🙈 and his head is very comfortable in my ribs whilst I get kicked repeatedly in my vagina 🤣

Literally feels like my vagina is bruised

Has anyone else had this where the best way I can describe it is my vagina feels bruised. I move around or use my leg to move something out of the way then I get a shooting pain down there. Sorry if TMI first time mum so I don't know what's normal.

First birthday ideas?

My partner, my son and I live with my in-laws (hopefully not for too much longer). I’m sooo stuck as to what to do for our son’s birthday in November. We can’t have a party at the house, my in-laws just aren’t those sort of people, plus they have quite a few dogs. We wouldn’t invite enough people to justify hiring somewhere so that’s also off the cards. Any ideas? Really want to do something special for his first birthday.
