First time mom

I’m 33 weeks pregnant today and last night I was throwing up really bad it made me all dizzy. The past 3 days I’ve had a mild headache and I’ve been experiencing severe cramping kinda like my period cramps but it goes away for like 1-3 hours and then comes back. I’m also having a lot of white barely yellow discharge. Google says my water may be leaking, i lost my mucus plug, or preeclampsia but my sister said losing your mucus plug shouldn’t hurt. I don’t want my husband to have to leave work for nothing. Idk if this is normal but I’m in lots of pain my mom and sister said it’s normal to be in lots of pain this late into pregnancy. All of the symptoms but the headache started after I threw up last night.

I would go to the doctor or at least reach out to your doctor and see what they say. Sounds like you should get looked at either way though.

I was having prodromal contractions and fluid/electrolytes helped a lot. So sorry you are in pain!

Have I delayed..

I am wondering if I have delayed sending my LO to childcare she is nearly 16 months and is still at home I have seen some comments and posts where mums are sending their LO's to childcare from 8, 9months.. i just hope i haven't left it too long and it doesn't impact their development. My LO is very sociable starts off shy but warms up and loves to play.

5 weeks post c section.. done too much

Can anyone help me please. I had a c section 5 weeks ago tomorrow. I started driving Sunday and doing a bit more and I think iv done too much. The right side of my incision is so painful to touch. It's still scabby in places and it feels like it's pulling. My mum is coming to help me today but my partner has been on nights the past 3 nights is IV had to do it all alone so no real way I can just lay down.
Will I have pulled my insides? I feel like IV gone back so far I spent all night crying

Not coping with the pain

Had consistent contractions for the last 11 hours, lost my mucus plug and went to the maternity hosp, was having contractions every 1.5 mins when I arrived there yet was only 1cm so got sent home. Baby is sunny side up. I can no longer bare the pain. I don’t know what to do, some of the contractions are so painful I want to phone 999. I can’t do this any longer. I can’t sleep through them, I can’t breathe through them. I’m struggling so so bad

Subsequent kids

Has anyone had a traumatizing c-section for their first and gave birth to another a few years later? What was that like? I had a really traumatic birth and still cry about it every day 2 months later. I want another but I don’t know how I’ll ever do it again and I’m curious how other moms do

Early labour?

For two nights now in a row I’ve had bad pelvic pain and sciatica in my legs alongside period like cramping. Last night in particular the pain was much worse than the night before and made me feel sick. Woke up this morning and the period like pains are still there, this is a first usually if I have an episode like this in the past I sleep and wake up pain free. Also 3 nights ago had a false labour episode at night but that went after I slept it off. Anyone else experience or is experiencing this? I’m 38+5 💀

Consultant AND MW appointments

Has anyone successfully declined Midwife appointments? I am now under the consultant and have appointments with the consultant and midwife just 2 days apart each time and it is absolutely pointless as they do all the same checks at the consultant appointment (BP, urine etc.) alongside the growth scan and an appointment with my diabetes mw. I am just struggling to fit it all in. I'm still working this is my 2nd, I'm having an elective c section and my MW can't answer any questions for me (I've tried asking!) I have been told by a consultant midwife I know that there's no need to do both as I'm over 31 weeks now and they do more checks at the consultant appointments. Anyone have any similar experience?
