Any advice? I’m currently 25 weeks and I’m so un interested in food. After being so so hungry leading up to this I’m so confused. I’ve been struggling a lot with acid and still having sick days etc but even on days I’m fine I really have to force myself. Any one else struggling?

My experience so far is a bit different, as I'm having twins, but I'm finding that a lot of my struggles with eating at 18w is probably because there's just...less room to fit food. And organs are all moving and adjusting to give the baby/babies some space, on top of hormones are just continuously fluctuating. I'm not a doctor or specialist or anything, but I think while it can be kind of scary or even annoying, it makes sense!

Honestly I use to walk around the supermarket picking what looked good 🤣🤷🏼♀️ if the acid is bad really recommend getting in touch with the GP

Fed is best any food is good food don’t stress about having a balanced diet you are growing a whole human. I think I had McDonald’s and quavers for whole of first trimester and honestly I’m surviving on cereal atm

I honestly don’t remember eating much at all until my 3rd trimester. I wasn’t necessarily sick much but I was nauseous 24/7 for around 5-6 months.
The worst thing for me was meat I couldn’t stand anything about it or anything it was near. I survived on fruit and toast for the most part. Your not alone😂x

I’d recommend leaning into “liquid” foods as much as possible - whatever sounds palatable. Smoothies, broth, soups. Try to sneak protein in there wherever you can, but really as long as you can get something in, that’s better than nothing,
I’d also say if you are open to acupuncture, this is something you can talk to an acupuncturist about and they can help you with treatment and/or herbs to stir up an appetite again.

Try protein shakes or meal replacement shakes. Make one up and have a little sip every so often. It will help you get calories in to make sure baby isn’t going hungry.
I went to Tesco today and went for a walk down the home isle to have a quick look, and I saw this Highland cow doorstop. He was so cute so I picked him up and I was cuddling him and I started crying about how cute he was, then I started giggling at how ridiculous I was being, so I stood in this isle hugging a door stop while uncontrollably crying and giggling at the same time 🤣🤣 pregnancy is turning me into a crazy person. Highland cow obviously came home with me.
Tell me your unhinged breakdown stories!

Not sure if it’s me but I have 2 and the idea of another baby terrifies me! Not the baby itself but the pregnancy, labour, post partum. I feel like i now understand it’s all chances and luck how it goes and I feel like doing it twice is enough stress. I had a bad birth experience and a good one. Not sure I’d like to find out the in between experience 😂

I know weekdays are gonna be super busy with office work and household chores while taking care of baby. Weekends will be mostly resting at home. Even if i wanna go for a holiday, i may have to think a lot about it. What about me time and my interests? Any tips on surviving the first year after having a baby?

The first trimester literally sucks, I’m nauseous and exhausted all day and I feel like a vegetable. I just want my body back..
