Not sure if it’s me but I have 2 and the idea of another baby terrifies me! Not the baby itself but the pregnancy, labour, post partum. I feel like i now understand it’s all chances and luck how it goes and I feel like doing it twice is enough stress. I had a bad birth experience and a good one. Not sure I’d like to find out the in between experience 😂

Hi, I feel you, I've 2 girls 8 & 9. First birth scary and no idea what to expect and certainly said I wouldnt do it again 6 month later I fell pregnant with my second, easy pregnancy & easy birth. Also said again I wouldn't have anymore, I met my current partner 3 year ago and he didn't have any children we spoke and agreed to just 1 more so he could have one of his own. The 3rd pregnancy for me wasn't the best I ended up with GD then the last week or so I was in every day for blood pressure checks and then I was induced and did 12hr of labour fully dialated and she ended up stuck and ended with an emergency c section. That 3td birth as really traumatized me and never again! My partner agreed to having the snip as he said one is enough for him and he never wants to go through that experience again. (thank God).
But I wouldn't change my daughter's for he world and they are all worth every bit of happy & sad in pregnancy and birth 🫶🏻

I was more nervous the second time despite having a relatively straightforward experience all round the first time, I put it down to knowing what’s coming, the pain, the aftermath etc. The same way now with my 8mo I can feeling the toddler stage edging closer and I’m scared🤣
With my first I had never experienced pregnancy, birth or postpartum before so I didn’t entirely know what to worry about I guess. With my second I knew what was coming, and later on in pregnancy I suddenly realised that that didn’t mean it was going to go the same either and be straightforward again. Luckily it was and I labour quickly so it was over fast. I’ve only had 2 and plan to have no more, but I would imagine that feeling would come back again!

🙋🏾♀️ lol this is me. I was on the fence abt having another kid after having my son. And recently came to the conclusion that I might just stay one & done for many reasons & one of those reasons is the fear.
And honestly this app doesn’t help cuz no one with 2 plus kids can convince me that having more kids is worth the sacrifice. lol bt I actually had a very textbook experience motherhood journey with my son. Nothing was too out of the ordinary or traumatic bt I fear the worst will happen if I decide to have more kids. Even with a normal pregnancy, labor & pp with my 1st, Idk how I would cope with another pregnancy journey so I not taking any chances so I am one & done.
Bythe Grace of God everything for the most part went well bt having another baby terrifies the shit out of me. Cant believe I did it once & I just can’t quite get myself agree to do it again. 🙋🏾♀️
I went to Tesco today and went for a walk down the home isle to have a quick look, and I saw this Highland cow doorstop. He was so cute so I picked him up and I was cuddling him and I started crying about how cute he was, then I started giggling at how ridiculous I was being, so I stood in this isle hugging a door stop while uncontrollably crying and giggling at the same time 🤣🤣 pregnancy is turning me into a crazy person. Highland cow obviously came home with me.
Tell me your unhinged breakdown stories!

How long do you have to fast before the test? And can you drink water while fasting?

I know weekdays are gonna be super busy with office work and household chores while taking care of baby. Weekends will be mostly resting at home. Even if i wanna go for a holiday, i may have to think a lot about it. What about me time and my interests? Any tips on surviving the first year after having a baby?

The first trimester literally sucks, I’m nauseous and exhausted all day and I feel like a vegetable. I just want my body back..
