How long do you have to fast before the test? And can you drink water while fasting?

I had to fast 12 hours night before my test…so my test was at 10:00AM, and I roughly stopped eating/drinking at around 21:00PM the night before… (if that makes sense). You can drink/take sips of water during your fast as well as during your glucose test xx

Yes, you can have water. I called and asked for my test to be brought forward to 8am as I have meds to take and couldn't wait until 12pm to eat.

I had to stop eating/drinking (other than water) 10pm for an 8.45am test. You can sip water throughout the test but no food or flavour until after the second blood test.

Got mine tomorrow morning, just checked the email, it's 8 hours fasting, can drink water that's it

I had my appointment 8:30 and was told fast 10pm
Night before and just water

I had mine last week, I was told to fast from midnight for my 8.30am test - sips of water were allowed
I went to Tesco today and went for a walk down the home isle to have a quick look, and I saw this Highland cow doorstop. He was so cute so I picked him up and I was cuddling him and I started crying about how cute he was, then I started giggling at how ridiculous I was being, so I stood in this isle hugging a door stop while uncontrollably crying and giggling at the same time 🤣🤣 pregnancy is turning me into a crazy person. Highland cow obviously came home with me.

Not sure if it’s me but I have 2 and the idea of another baby terrifies me! Not the baby itself but the pregnancy, labour, post partum. I feel like i now understand it’s all chances and luck how it goes and I feel like doing it twice is enough stress. I had a bad birth experience and a good one. Not sure I’d like to find out the in between experience 😂

I know weekdays are gonna be super busy with office work and household chores while taking care of baby. Weekends will be mostly resting at home. Even if i wanna go for a holiday, i may have to think a lot about it. What about me time and my interests? Any tips on surviving the first year after having a baby?

The first trimester literally sucks, I’m nauseous and exhausted all day and I feel like a vegetable. I just want my body back..

Any advice? I’m currently 25 weeks and I’m so un interested in food. After being so so hungry leading up to this I’m so confused. I’ve been struggling a lot with acid and still having sick days etc but even on days I’m fine I really have to force myself. Any one else struggling?
