I feel like I'm a rubbish mum

Does anybody else feel like this?

I have mum guilt ALL the time.

My son is going through a phase of not eating any meals and it's stressing me out and I can only think it's because of how I've been feeding him maybe or mistakes I've maybe made?

I breastfed for only 5 months and whenever people ask me, a lot have said that it's not long at all.

I let him get filthy with food etc.

There are toys all over my house and my house is an absolute tip.

I'm finding his tantrums really hard at the moment.

He doesn't sleep through most nights

Am I the only one feeling this?

It sounds like a normal household and a normal toddler if you ask me!
Toddlers go through much more defined growth spurts compared to babies so it's normal for them to survive off air and breadsticks for a while then eat everything in sight when they need to. They eat as much as their body needs, whereas adults tend to eat what is expected of us. I know it's hard in the moment, but know that if he's hungry he'll let you know

I am the worst mom ever?

I have been giving my baby chicken liver and apple pate! This is literally his favourite! He is 10 months old now. I started since he was 7-8 months. The problem, I have more than 1-2 teaspoon per week. I tend to cook this once a week he has been having 2 ounces easily per week. I was reading about vitamin A Toxicity and I am worried that I was poisoning my son! 🥺

Finance issues

Is it ok to ask for child maintenance from my husband even if we live together etc…

My husband earns more than me, he pays our biggest bill but I still pay tons of bills to, including childcare all food shopping and if we go anywhere or do anything. I keep asking for him to contribute that I’m constantly struggling to cover everything but he just makes up and excuse or lies about his money or bills. He doesn’t even pay the bills on time or just doesn’t pay, I constantly have to bail him out and never get it all back. he’s lying again about money and it just seems like my money is the family money and his money is his to do what he wants. I brought it up with him again this week and he told me he wasn’t contributing anything towards summer break as I choose to take the children out so I should cover the cost. He constantly pays for nothing and everything falls on me, I can never just have my money I have to make sure it covers everything. I just want him to contribute towards our children but he doesn’t pay for clothes toys outings nothing I’ve had enough
We’re trying to save for a house but everyone I ask him to save any money for this he tells me I’m controlling him

Does it get better?

My son is 2 months and it’s just been really hard I feel like I have no break and when I ask for help I feel like I’m just inconveniencing everyone and I’m so beyond stressed from other things that my body hurts and feels weak and I always have headaches, no matter how much I rest I feel like I can barely hold my son just to burp him and yes I do have a husband but he’s constantly working and is barely even home and he can’t take off but does it get better when they get older?

Lustful husband

Hi guys, I’ve got two kiddos a two year old and a 2 month old. My husband has always struggled with watching things he shouldn’t be. I find out (after asking and asking because I know he’s lying) cry and forgive because I love this man with everything in my soul. He apologizes, says it’ll never happen again and it does. Well when I had my two year old he fell into it again and so this time I begged him not to do it this time postpartum and it’s happened twice. Something in me broke this time, I’m agitated, I’m withdrawn, I feel almost done? Is there any fixing it or is it time to wipe my hands. I’m a stay at home mom as well so I’d have to navigate that.

Regret having a child

I have recently become the only caretakers for my child I live in a country with no family or friends recently been divorced and the pressure of just being the only caregiver for my son has been driving me insane I’m not able to do anything or get anything done ex-husband refuses to help out with 8 month old baby I have to do everything by myself. I don’t have a job depend on him financially he’s been really difficult refusing to help out. I feel like I’m slowly losing myself and drowning in the sorrow of motherhood with no financial stability living in a very small Shered apartment.

Autistic potty training

My son is 2 turning 3 in December and I know for the following year he will be entering pre-k so he’ll need to be potty trained😪. He’s already a size 8 in diapers so I know he’ll have to be in undies soon. I do have trouble getting him to focus and follow directions so I’m not sure how to navigate him to be potty trained.
