Is it ok to ask for child maintenance from my husband even if we live together etc…

My husband earns more than me, he pays our biggest bill but I still pay tons of bills to, including childcare all food shopping and if we go anywhere or do anything. I keep asking for him to contribute that I’m constantly struggling to cover everything but he just makes up and excuse or lies about his money or bills. He doesn’t even pay the bills on time or just doesn’t pay, I constantly have to bail him out and never get it all back. he’s lying again about money and it just seems like my money is the family money and his money is his to do what he wants. I brought it up with him again this week and he told me he wasn’t contributing anything towards summer break as I choose to take the children out so I should cover the cost. He constantly pays for nothing and everything falls on me, I can never just have my money I have to make sure it covers everything. I just want him to contribute towards our children but he doesn’t pay for clothes toys outings nothing I’ve had enough

DAD TURNED IV MACHINE OFF

I am currently in the hospital with my 2.5 year old since yesterday as he’s had 100-103 degree temperatures. He’s dad came to meet us after he got off work and in the middle of the night turned my child’s IV machine off because it was “bothering (him)” and the noise kept waking him up. Not our son. HIM. This man decided the machine was annoying him and turned it off without permission from the nurses. And hes telling me that I’M DISGUSTING because I’m soaking up for my child? I’m fuming I’m in disbelief. We already have a complicated relationship but this sealed the fucking deal. He has zero intelligence, zero compassion, zero empathy, zero maturity skills. I fucking hate him!!!!!! This machine was giving my child the necessary fluids he needed to feel better and his dad’s entitled self absorbed ass turned it off because he couldn’t sleep!!!

Am I the weirdo??

So just came back from a new baby group (been moved up to a toddler group). I'd say the age group is predominantly 12-24 months (there's a few old and a few younger). And for context my son is 14 months. At the end of the group there's a snack time and the lady comes out with boxes of raisins and a pack of rich tea biscuits! All these babies are munching on biscuits and eating probably the worst type of fruit for little teeth. When offered a snack for my son I say "no he's ok" and move on.

I get called out by another parent asking why not. I say we don't do sugar or salt until after 2. They think this is really really weird.

Am I weird? I thought this was a national guideline? (UK)
I'm just trying to protect my sons current and future health, eating habits and his teeth.

I see babies eating all sorts of rubbish, sugary, processed foods and sugary drinks and it boils my blood. I never say anything though of course.

Do you think I'm weird for wanting my son to only eat clean healthy foods until 2 years old?

Can I get a script for this?? My son talks about his penis

I don't consider this sensitive topic but I toggled it on anyway just in case

My son woke up in the morning and usually take off his diaper wipe him down and put on his underwear

Yesterday morning he said look Mommy my penis is big because he had a morning erection I guess is what it was

And I said yes your body changes throughout the day and that's good noticing. Your body is healthy and strong

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I'M SUPPOSED TO SAY?!!!! LOL.

I am a single mom and sometimes I cry thinking I have to do it all by myself.. I have no idea where to bring this topic to

I'm worried and afraid that when the time comes I won't have the right perspective to respond like I'm supposed to

I'm open to ideas please or just a mindset for this kind of thing. I think I did okay but I don't always know what to say

Starting nursery and husbands anxiety

My LO is 11 months old. We have always used huckleberry to track everything which is exhausting to me. However it has helped us over the last 11 months by using chatgpt to analyse the data, spot patterns and trends etc. Her sleep is absolutely amazing now.

My husband insists we continue to track everything until she goes to nursery.

He wants us to prepare a handover document detailing everything about her from her sleep, feeding, separation anxiety etc. Even down the the level that she sleeps at x time and what to do if naps dont go to plan. I feel this is quite patronising to the nursery staff... I get that they would want brief information on how she settles and roughly what time she sleeps etc but I feel he is going over the top...

Did anyone else do this?

Anyone who works in a nursery, what are your views on this?

3 years old, never been to a setting - extremely distressed & upset! Is this normal? How long till it last?

My son has never been to a setting before but aged 3 now I’ve sent him to a forest school nursery. But he’s screaming crying every morning mummy please don’t leave me here I don’t know anyone Etc. I try to reassure him but he’s unconsolable. He’s managing 45 mins to 1 hour a day at the minute. Does it get easier?
