Another episode of - is he cheating:

General vibes over the years - seems to exit out of what he was looking at on his phone when I come in the room, has the opportunity with “work dinners” and things, found a hair tie in his car one time. I know that sounds bad, but no one who knows him would think he’s capable of it, and I’ve always chalked it up to my own anxiety and insecurities.

Yesterday I found a necklace.

Discreet box, ordered to the house, last night he unboxed it, put the nice cloth bag in his backpack, and left for work with that this morning. (Yes I know this bc I was snooping) A quick google shows it was a Very expensive necklace.

Took everything I had not to ask about it, but I’m waiting until this evening to see if it’s still in his backpack or not. He could be hiding it and giving it to me at some point but idk.

Thoughts?

See the thing is, when your spidey senses start tingling, there’s usually a reason why. Your gut instincts are never wrong.

I don’t know how you’ve put up with this for years tbh. I would have confronted a long time ago and if I wasn’t satisfied with his answers, would have left. It doesn’t matter what others think about him of whether he’s a good guy, they are not in a relationship with him.

As for the necklace, of course it’s for another woman. Stop gaslighting yourself. If it was for you, he would have hidden it in your home somewhere.

If I were in your shoes I would ask him for a chat when he gets in and 1) ask him about the necklace and 2) ask to see his phone. See he can bullshit you with number 1, but asking to see his phone where there is likely evidence of his lies? Yea watch him lie/get angry and do everything in his power not to. That is your answer right there and also your sign to leave. Don’t waste even more years of your life believing his lies.

Even if he isn't cheating, is this really how you want to live your life? It sounds exhausting, the trust clearly isn't there.

Just need to vent

I can’t stand my husband. I look at him and there is no spark left. His past has caught up with him causing us to be homeless and living paycheck to paycheck. I told him a month ago I wanted a divorce and he said if I filed he’d just rip it up because he won’t agree to it. He tried suggesting marriage counseling even though I’ve been asking for it for over a year and was told “only losers go to therapy.”

Our son recently got an autism diagnosis and he treats him differently now. Calling him “tismo” and saying comments about why couldn’t he just have a normal son. He has like stopped taking care of him and half asses it. The burnout is real. I signed our son up for daycare because I needed help and a break and was told I’m just lazy.

I really don’t know what to do. Getting married to this guy has cost me my career, screwed me financially, I no longer have my own car because he tried to fix my old car and it caught on fire one day while driving it.

My daughter who isn’t is can’t stand him. She told me the other day that she feels bad for me because I’m stuck married to him.

Idk what to do. I feel trapped being with him.

Do you love or hate ASMR?

I fucking hate ASMR videos why do all videos need to have things cracking crunching unwrapping tapping all kinds of shit. So many people seem to like it or just not care but I genuinely feel like I need to claw out of skin when I hear it. I’m usually a calm relaxed person so I don’t know why it sets me off SO easily

Struggling with asking for help

My husband and me have a clash when it comes to night shifts with baby and this is our third and it's still happening. He works and needs to concentrate in the daytime on his business so that we have money so he needs to be rested. I am mainly responsible for the "management of our home and family". Every night I have this expectation of myself to be with baby all night and in some cases only get like 2-3 hours sleep a night because "I am at home and could nap when baby naps" but on the other hand then lots of things won't get done and I will also miss out on daylight and some time for myself. Then when I come up to around 3 nights like this my sleep deprivation makes me irritated, moody, impatient and or cranky and that affects my relationship so then my husband offers to take the next night over so I get a full night's sleep again and it's super difficult for me to accept because when I see him getting irritated at the children after just a few min vs. that it takes me a full day I often naively think that the baby will be happier with me and I am responsible for his happiness but really when my husband makes his mind up, he takes amazing care of them.
Can anyone relate at all? Sometimes we get into an argument because of how personal or horrible I take some things and when the truth comes out, that the reason for it is sleep deprivation he accuses me of maliciously not asking for help and trying to be a hero instead of "making it easier for him to help me". I don't know why it doesn't feel easy though

I’m so so sad and hoping for some encouragement

Today my boyfriend ( not my baby daddy) ended our relationship just short of two years. We went so slow , he met my son 6 months into dating . I felt like I waited to really bring him in and I have tried so hard to be certain before allowing my now 3 year old get to know him. They’ve been getting to know eachother more closely for the last 8 months and it seems so good.
Today we scheduled a convo to just talk about how he’s feeling about everything. And I’ve been asking him to communicate with me about his journey through this all. He doesn’t have kids. Today he said , he just at doesn’t know what he wants but he has been selfish because he wants me and loves me and I’m the most incredible women he has ever met but he can’t see it working because he just doesn’t know if he can have my son in his life the way ultimately I would want some day.
I’ve just asked for a friendship with my son. My son has a dad . But it’s over now I guess. I feel side blinded. He never spoke of feeling like he didn’t want this. He said it wasn’t fair to me and it especially wasn’t fair to my son. I appreciate the honesty and , it’s better now than later . We don’t live together or anything.
But guys I’m heart broken and I finally let someone in and I just feel like, what’s the point of trying again? It just hurts. It hurts me and now I have to navigate his absence for my son.
I just feel like society views us in this way I hate. Like taking on a women with a child is such a burden. I don’t ask for anything beyond love us both , he is a part of me .

Does anyone feel like this? Experienced this?
I feel so rejected and just… defeated. I don’t think I want to date anymore . I know every breakup feels that way but… mabey it’s just not in the cards for me.

This is the first relationship that felt healthy, loving and truly happy and I’m so sad to lose this person that brought me so much joy and has been with me through so much as a mother .

Teething

Hey mama’s! For those that have teething babies, does it come with a runny nose? I just discovered she has one tooth at the top and two at the bottom coming in.

I feel like I'm a rubbish mum

Does anybody else feel like this?

I have mum guilt ALL the time.

My son is going through a phase of not eating any meals and it's stressing me out and I can only think it's because of how I've been feeding him maybe or mistakes I've maybe made?

I breastfed for only 5 months and whenever people ask me, a lot have said that it's not long at all.

I let him get filthy with food etc.

There are toys all over my house and my house is an absolute tip.

I'm finding his tantrums really hard at the moment.

He doesn't sleep through most nights

Am I the only one feeling this?
