LO is 5 weeks old and is having 120ml (4oz) bottles every 3-4 hours and doesn’t seem satisfied by them half the time and just cries endlessly after. It already feels like I’m over feeding him but should I just move up to 150? He is difficult to burp but is burping and I don’t think is gassy after and I’m already pacing feeds so it’s taking half hour to 45 minutes to drink the 120

My 3 week old is on 150ml at times! She was 8 pounds 14 when born. I was told if they aren't throwing it back up and they are asking for more then to give it to them :)

My 3 week old is having 120ml per feed on top of breastfeeding. They say you can’t overfeed a baby. They’re growing after all. I would follow the formula feeding guidelines, and change the teat flow if you want baby to finish faster

My little one is 5 weeks too, is on 4oz - sometimes finishes the bottle and wants more and sometimes doesn’t drink the whole thing. He was born 8lbs 11oz! Let them have as much as they need long as they are comfortable afterwards :) x

Exactly the same 120ml 6 x a day then little bits between midwife said it’s a growth spurt

4 weeks and 3 days here
She’s taking a full 4/5oz every 3 hours and then 1oz here 2oz there in between.
Also difficult to burp and is taking up to 1 hour to feed (sometimes longer!) Sometimes it feels like she’s never off the bottle because by the time she’s finished one feed she’s running into the next🥴🤣.

I think its okay as long as they're not regularly bringing it up :)

My baby is three months old and now on 5oz, about every four hours, I just felt like the 4oz wasn't doing what she wanted as she started to cry sometimes for more, gave her another three and she would drink an extra one, and I was told you can never over feed a baby.

My boy is 5 weeks now, and often drinks 5-6oz on some bottles every 3 hours, sometimes 3-4oz.
But 170 seems to be the usual for us
If you worry that hes gassy, try rocking him side to side or standing while burping so hes nice and stretched out! It helped for me. Of course its not for everyone 💙

My 2 week old is on 4ozs every 3 hours, he’s gained so much weight but we’ve been feeding on demand and he’s rarely sick! I was always told you’re better to have a dribble in the bottle left so you know they are satisfied than having an empty bottle. It’s always better to offer more and if they don’t want it they won’t drink it
Our son is 6 weeks old, turns 7 tomorrow. my partner never wakes up at night to help unless I ask him , ( sometimes I don’t need his help coz he has to go work and I don’t mind doing it myself ) the only time I ask for help is when I’m extremely exhausted or when baby has really kept me up. when he does wake up on his own he just looks at us and goes back to sleep and sometimes he opts to sleep in the living room on the couch, btw he doesn’t share a bed with me, he sleeps on the floor bed for reasons best known to him! When I ask him to look after the baby he still comes back to ask questions on whether he is supposed to feed him, change him or put him to sleep which is just as good as me staying up and looking after baby myself. I was telling him about appointments I’ve got booked for our son and he said to me he can’t come I need to use uber, this came up after we went for our 6 weeks post natal check and he said to me he could have gone to work . I said to him the baby is ours he need to be a parent just like I do and not be selective on when he can and can’t help and shouldn’t let me do everything on my own., he needs to be involved! That aside, my son still wakes up almost 2-3 hourly for feeds so obviously I was up most of the night, after the appointment he told me he couldn’t look after the baby coz he needed to rest, which honestly I feel is unfair, he slept the whole night, he had his afternoon nap and I didn’t coz baby been fussy the whole day . He is quiet helpful with meal preps but sometimes I just need a break from baby and just get some rest, I feel I’m doing it all alone. We argued about the whole thing coz I have been repeating the same thing for 6 weeks now and he has been calling everyone saying I was screaming at him when I don’t ask him to help , honestly should I ask each and every time? Sometimes I would be eating me meals whilst carrying the baby and he would just be seated . Honestly it’s exhausting having to ask all the time when I have explained several times of what I require from him. keep in mind he wanted the baby, I love my son but he pushed for me to have a baby and he’s also complained about me getting the coil as contraception coz I told him I don’t want to go through this whole experience again. Honestly what would one do in this case

I've been having braxton hicks for about 1.5 hours, they're not painful but I have had a very slight period like pain. Moving and changing position doesn't stop them. I'm 34+4, would you call triage? I don't want to be a time waster.

I’m worried my child should be doing certain things she’s not by now she’s 14 months old this months and all she’s says is mama she doesn’t say no or anything does shake her head to the word she babbles a lot but nothing that sounds like words is this normal or should she be doing it by now? That’s just some things

A few days ago, I drove to a local park to get myself and my baby some fresh air. We have well and truly been in the trenches so it was definitely a mental health walk. While I was paying for parking I saw a few other mams getting g their babies out of cars and into pushchairs but I thought nothing of it and I didn’t see them anywhere along the walk.
At the end of the walk I went to the cafe, and honestly I felt no better. I’d been walking around crying, I was exhausted and desperately needing a break but the only thing to stop my baby crying was to walk and walk and walk. I was just feeling sorry for myself really. As I sat down outside this cafe, through the window I saw the group of mams all sat around a few tables, talking together. A few saw me sat outside, clearly upset. But not one approached me, asked if I was okay or if I wanted to join. Addmitedly I didn’t approach them either, but I knew if i was a mam sat in that group and saw a mother crying on her own, I would not ignore her. Being ignored made me even more upset and I left shortly after.
Honestly not sure if i was valid in being upset, but it’s so unlike me and i’m putting it down to hormones and sleep deprivation. I guess I’d just like to share, please don’t leave other mams out, even if you don’t know them a smile or a hello would go a long way :)

Is anyone else’s babies still not sleeping through the night? My baby still wakes every 2-3 hours

Tell me I am not the only one please ! I am getting really depressed and I feel like I am suffocating. I have a 10 week old baby that does not nap easily. It takes her 1-3h to put her to sleep. I have a 4 year old boy at home and my husband comes at 7pm. I am trying my best but I feel like I am letting my boy all day alone, trying to put her to bed. I have tried everything. She only naps on my shoulder. In the carrier also, and on the breast, if I take it out of her mouth she opens her eyes. My nipples are sore as she is not even sucking she only open and closes her mouth. As soon as I leave her down she opens her eyes. I can't even follow her wake windows anymore as she is always tired and tired... I am mentally suffering.
