Yep! Remember it is the norm for babies to wake during the night, not the exception.

Just want to say that it is totally normal for your baby to still be waking multiple times a night. At that age they still need to feed and often just want some comfort which is fine, they are only little!
My youngest is 11 months and no longer feeding at night but still wakes up 1-3 times no matter what I do. She has only slept through maybe once or twice. They will sleep through when they are ready 🙂

My four year-old still tries to get up in the middle of the night and I know it’s because he wants comfort. I’ll sit there and rub his back and he’ll pass right out again.

Yep! My LG does a longer first stretch sometimes, like 3-4 hrs (only once she did 6.5hrs), and after that wakes up every 1.5-2hrs. There’s no consistent night with her, she can wake up anywhere between 2-6 times. So after the first stretch we co-sleep. I’ve become so used to feeding while co-sleeping that sometimes in the morning I don’t even remember how many times she woke up as most of the time i just go straight back to sleep after popping the boob in her mouth. And she goes back to sleep easily as well after feeding for like 10mins maybe. And that’s helped a lot with getting a good rest overnight.

Sometimes I get a couple of hours at the start but apart from that my LO wakes hourly. It’s brutal. We are hitting 4 months now so there will probably be some babies that slept not doing that anymore

More common than not to wake overnight until 3/4 years old!

Same here. My 3month old is awake every 2/3 hours. Only slept a 6 hour stretch once after his 2nd lot of jabs
Our son is 6 weeks old, turns 7 tomorrow. my partner never wakes up at night to help unless I ask him , ( sometimes I don’t need his help coz he has to go work and I don’t mind doing it myself ) the only time I ask for help is when I’m extremely exhausted or when baby has really kept me up. when he does wake up on his own he just looks at us and goes back to sleep and sometimes he opts to sleep in the living room on the couch, btw he doesn’t share a bed with me, he sleeps on the floor bed for reasons best known to him! When I ask him to look after the baby he still comes back to ask questions on whether he is supposed to feed him, change him or put him to sleep which is just as good as me staying up and looking after baby myself. I was telling him about appointments I’ve got booked for our son and he said to me he can’t come I need to use uber, this came up after we went for our 6 weeks post natal check and he said to me he could have gone to work . I said to him the baby is ours he need to be a parent just like I do and not be selective on when he can and can’t help and shouldn’t let me do everything on my own., he needs to be involved! That aside, my son still wakes up almost 2-3 hourly for feeds so obviously I was up most of the night, after the appointment he told me he couldn’t look after the baby coz he needed to rest, which honestly I feel is unfair, he slept the whole night, he had his afternoon nap and I didn’t coz baby been fussy the whole day . He is quiet helpful with meal preps but sometimes I just need a break from baby and just get some rest, I feel I’m doing it all alone. We argued about the whole thing coz I have been repeating the same thing for 6 weeks now and he has been calling everyone saying I was screaming at him when I don’t ask him to help , honestly should I ask each and every time? Sometimes I would be eating me meals whilst carrying the baby and he would just be seated . Honestly it’s exhausting having to ask all the time when I have explained several times of what I require from him. keep in mind he wanted the baby, I love my son but he pushed for me to have a baby and he’s also complained about me getting the coil as contraception coz I told him I don’t want to go through this whole experience again. Honestly what would one do in this case

I've been having braxton hicks for about 1.5 hours, they're not painful but I have had a very slight period like pain. Moving and changing position doesn't stop them. I'm 34+4, would you call triage? I don't want to be a time waster.

I don’t know why I find my 6 month old to always smell? He gets a bath every night, but his hands are constantly in his mouth so they’re covered in saliva, he’s quite a sicky baby so he’s constantly being sick and no matter how many outfit changes or wipes to the neck, once he’s been sick that smell seems to linger until his bath. I see other babies and they just look so perfect, other mams have never really mentioned anything like this before. Am I getting in my head?

I left my baby for the first time at this age (11 months) with a cousin. I left him for an hour so I could pop to the shops locally and she gave him a bottle to stop him crying. That was an extra bottle she gave him. I told her she can give him snacks provided but she gave him a bottle instead - like why? This was my worry that because my LO eats so much people would just use milk or food to calm him down. I would have preferred her to give him snacks rather than an extra bottle. He has three small 4.5oz bottles a day and I've just seen she used an old dirty bottle. I don't get it because she messaged me and I told her what snack to give. This does not do well for my anxiety or trust.

I’m worried my child should be doing certain things she’s not by now she’s 14 months old this months and all she’s says is mama she doesn’t say no or anything does shake her head to the word she babbles a lot but nothing that sounds like words is this normal or should she be doing it by now? That’s just some things

A few days ago, I drove to a local park to get myself and my baby some fresh air. We have well and truly been in the trenches so it was definitely a mental health walk. While I was paying for parking I saw a few other mams getting g their babies out of cars and into pushchairs but I thought nothing of it and I didn’t see them anywhere along the walk.
At the end of the walk I went to the cafe, and honestly I felt no better. I’d been walking around crying, I was exhausted and desperately needing a break but the only thing to stop my baby crying was to walk and walk and walk. I was just feeling sorry for myself really. As I sat down outside this cafe, through the window I saw the group of mams all sat around a few tables, talking together. A few saw me sat outside, clearly upset. But not one approached me, asked if I was okay or if I wanted to join. Addmitedly I didn’t approach them either, but I knew if i was a mam sat in that group and saw a mother crying on her own, I would not ignore her. Being ignored made me even more upset and I left shortly after.
Honestly not sure if i was valid in being upset, but it’s so unlike me and i’m putting it down to hormones and sleep deprivation. I guess I’d just like to share, please don’t leave other mams out, even if you don’t know them a smile or a hello would go a long way :)
