Name of my baby
Hi all, would you give the same name of the baby of a friend of yours who is not very close to you but you keep talking from time to time?
We are both from Spain and our husbands are Greek. She had a baby few months ago and gave her one of our favorite name we are thinking to give to our baby (a Greek name). In the last month we are starting to love more and more that name and I am wondering if this will be offensive to her if we pick the same? my older kid really loves that name too and wants us to call our baby like that. To add on the awkwardness our first born has the same name but our is the Spanish version and hers is the Greek version!! in this case we didn’t know it and it was pure chance 👀

I had a name that I told my friend when I was college that if i had a boy I’d name him that. Only for her to go an name her son that exactly name as she had kids before me.
So when I had my first boy I didn’t use that name & now I’m having another boy and still really love that name. I’ve decided to name him it still because i was hoping to have a girl in the early days and have Zero boy names. Except that one boy name xx
Honestly just name your baby what you want to name them. That person may not be in your lives forever, they might move abroad or to a different town, you may never bump into them or cross paths with them, who knows! You’ll be seeing and spending time with your baby every day, calling them by their name every day, so you should definitely give them a name you adore x
Same names are absolutely fine :) in some cultures it's really normal for lots of children to have the same name. Within our very close friendship group there are two couples who called their boy the same name, and its not a problem at all :)

Pregnancy pp
🫣 Posting anonymously because I’m not quite ready to put this out there yet…
I’d love some opinions from other moms! I’m wondering if there’s a possibility I could be pregnant, but I’m trying not to convince myself based on symptoms. 😂
My period is expected in about 5 days, and lately I’ve been EXTREMELY tired/exhausted. Tonight I suddenly started feeling really nauseous and needed a ginger chew, which is unusual for me. I also noticed my breast milk supply seemed unusually low recently.
The weirdest thing is that when I was pregnant with my daughter, tomatoes/red sauce made me incredibly sick. Tonight we had pasta with red sauce, and afterward I started feeling really nauseous again. 🤢
I’ve also noticed that my boobs look HUGE after pumping, which is something I specifically remember happening when I was pregnant with my daughter before I even knew I was pregnant.
I have been testing, but so far I’ve gotten negative pregnancy tests. The thing is, when I was pregnant with my daughter, I also took multiple negative tests. I kept testing and testing, and it wasn’t until I was around 7–8 weeks pregnant that I finally got a very obvious positive. So the negatives right now aren’t necessarily making me feel completely convinced either way. 😅
I know PMS can cause a lot of the same symptoms, and breastfeeding can make cycles and hormones unpredictable, so I’m trying to stay realistic. But with the nausea, exhaustion, breast changes, lower supply, and the fact that some of this feels eerily similar to my last pregnancy… I’m definitely wondering. 👀
For those of you who found out you were pregnant before your missed period, did you have symptoms like this? Did you get negative tests at first and then eventually get a positive? And has anyone else noticed their breasts looking especially large/full after pumping as an early pregnancy symptom?
Would love to hear your experiences/opinions because I’m driving myself crazy trying to figure out if I’m imagining things or if my body is trying to tell me something. 😂❤️

a little concerned
so i’ve seen multiple people have 20 week anatomy scan and people have genetic testing done before or at 20 weeks but i’m concerned that my ob hasn’t done genetic testing or a anatomy scan.
