How old was your baby when you left them for 1 hour plus -left the house

Not going upstairs for a shower. Literally leaving the house and leaving them in fill care of someone else - family/friends etc and who was it with?

My daughter will be 9 months in a few days and she’s never been away from me. She’s exclusively breastfed and I have no one to leave her with. The farthest she is ever away from me is the 6 steps from my bed to her crib when she sleeps at night 😂

She was 2 weeks old exactly. It was our wedding anniversary and my MIL came and looked after her for 3 hours while we went for lunch.

I put a 1yr+ bc that’s when both hubs & I were away from our youngest for the first time. Our teen watched him over the monitor during his nap so we could go Christmas shopping. Pretty sure I went w/my SIL to get pedicures when he was like 6-7m, but our youngest was equally hooked on both of us parents, so he didn’t care if I was gone if he had daddy. My oldest was merely weeks old, I extended my PP leave & went back to school to get my RDA, so I was away from him a few hours a week, then I basically didn’t leave his side again until he was 2yo, other than the few times I went on the job w/my ex or filled in on the weekends at my old job, bc we had both opened businesses & I was helping him w/his. Crazy thing was was that it sounds like I had more time to myself w/my older son, but that wasn’t really how it felt, my ex liked to pretend he didn’t know how to do anything, which left me stressed out when I needed to leave them alone. It was way easier after we separated & I hired a Manny.

Reduced movements during flu/cold?

Today i found out if you have the flu or a cold you feel really under the weather and just want to lie down and rest - our babies do the same thing, their movements may be reduced because they are reserving energy, didn’t know this before but it puts my mind at ease as i had the worst flu over the past week at 37 weeks and baby girl was quite quiet ❤️🥰

Hiya all!

I’m new to the app, I was just wondering how your 17 week old babies are getting on with rolling?

My daughters rolling from her back to her belly one side but won’t roll the other way just yet xxx

Low PAPP-A advice

I’ve just had a call from my midwife following from my 12 week scan on Wednesday saying I have low PAPP-A and have been advised to take aspirin every night, she didn’t seemed too concerned but I obviously have been googling everything and have sent myself down a hole.. anyone else had PAPP-A and everything was ok? My scan was on the 47th percentile at 12 weeks.
Any advice or reassurance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Positive story with foley balloon?

Had the foley balloon fitted last night at 2100 after 4 attempts and 2 different midwives as although my cervix was soft apparently it was very closed but the end she managed to force it to 0.5cm. Since then I’ve had irregular contractions although some quite painful and close together for a few hours that I had to get some pain relief, have also lost my bloody show. What’s the odds I’m gonna be dilated enough to break my waters after the 18 hours?

He's here 🩵

Born some time after 3pm (I think 😭), weighing 9lbs. Rough C-section though, had to do spinal twice, threw up, they had to make a new incision and cut through muscle and finally they had to get rid of some scar tissue. They did need a vacuum to get him out
