I’ve just had a call from my midwife following from my 12 week scan on Wednesday saying I have low PAPP-A and have been advised to take aspirin every night, she didn’t seemed too concerned but I obviously have been googling everything and have sent myself down a hole.. anyone else had PAPP-A and everything was ok? My scan was on the 47th percentile at 12 weeks.
Any advice or reassurance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi, I had the same with my first baby 18 months ago, took the aspirin every day until they told me to stop and everything was fine with me and her. She was born just over 7 pounds the day before my due date :)

Yup at baby was born on due date weighing 8lbs 14! It's a screening measure, not a diagnosis x

Yeah I had no issues - wasnt even told to take aspirin so thats the first ive heard of it. Low Papp-a but no issues whatsoever! Baby was 8lb 1!
Midwife said at the time 'oh yeah we are getting more people through with low p-a but never seen it cause an issue'
So dont worry too much! I freaked out but then forgot all about it haha. I enjoyed the extra scans though!!

Thank you! Really reassuring as I’ve been spiralling all afternoon! Xx
Today i found out if you have the flu or a cold you feel really under the weather and just want to lie down and rest - our babies do the same thing, their movements may be reduced because they are reserving energy, didn’t know this before but it puts my mind at ease as i had the worst flu over the past week at 37 weeks and baby girl was quite quiet ❤️🥰

Hiya all!
I’m new to the app, I was just wondering how your 17 week old babies are getting on with rolling?
My daughters rolling from her back to her belly one side but won’t roll the other way just yet xxx

Looking for some inspo on baby girl names, we have a few favourites but really open to suggestions.
We have a son already called Jude. Our top contenders are-
Violet
Iris
Goldie
Ada
But would like some more suggestions on these wavelengths…

So trying to work out what’s best to do after my C-section with a 4 year old. It’s booked for a Monday, daughter will be at school, not sure whether to bring her up after school or not, also worried she won’t understand why we will probably have to stay in until Tuesday.
Thoughts?

5 month old showing no interest of rolling from tummy to back. Not even entertaining the idea. When on her back she tries to roll though to her front but can't quite master it yet. Normal??
