Post planned c section
So trying to work out what’s best to do after my C-section with a 4 year old. It’s booked for a Monday, daughter will be at school, not sure whether to bring her up after school or not, also worried she won’t understand why we will probably have to stay in until Tuesday.

I'm also having a planned section and have a toddler, we have decided not to bring her into the hospital as we're worried that it might be a bit overwhelming for her. We also don't think she'll cope well with having to leave and me stay in, so grandparents will have her til we get home xx
I had a planned section a week ago (I say planned.. very last minute planned!)
We knew from very early on no matter what happened we’d wait till we were home for our (also nearly!) 4y old to meet her/see me as he absolutely wouldn’t cope not understanding why I couldn’t go home.
I was also in for 5 nights with my son (emergency section so a different experience etc!) so I was very aware one night may turn into several.
We did however accidentally wake up our son at 2330 the night we came home (curiosity clearly got the better of him as we were silent ha!) and he was bouncing off the ceilings with excitement/overwhelm/sobbing until 0230 so wouldn’t recommend that 😜
We will probably wait until we’re home for toddler to meet the baby, unless we’re in for much longer than expected.
I’m not planning on having my son come to the hospital, it would be too confusing for him!

Reduced movements during flu/cold?
Today i found out if you have the flu or a cold you feel really under the weather and just want to lie down and rest - our babies do the same thing, their movements may be reduced because they are reserving energy, didn’t know this before but it puts my mind at ease as i had the worst flu over the past week at 37 weeks and baby girl was quite quiet ❤️🥰

My daughters rolling from her back to her belly one side but won’t roll the other way just yet xxx

Low PAPP-A advice
I’ve just had a call from my midwife following from my 12 week scan on Wednesday saying I have low PAPP-A and have been advised to take aspirin every night, she didn’t seemed too concerned but I obviously have been googling everything and have sent myself down a hole.. anyone else had PAPP-A and everything was ok? My scan was on the 47th percentile at 12 weeks.
Any advice or reassurance would be greatly appreciated.
