Am I being over sensitive?

Met up with a friend over the summer, she noticed i was stressed and apologies for not offering any support earlier. For context, I have complex needs toddler .She offered to accompany me on a long haul flight with the toddler. I was overjoyed with this plan.Weeks later she send me an email thread confirming it is not advised she misses 2 days of her master's course.she didn't attempt to shorten the trip ,she jus cancelled.I was crushed but moved on .Today, she messaged the master's is having an open ceremony and she is asking me to attend on a Saturday evening. Its in another city, I told her I have no child care. She suggested I take the medically complex toddler with me , on the train and will end of having 1.5 hrs train ride in each direction in the late evening/night ,days before my long haul flight. I'm upset she asked, is not an important event.Am I overreacting?

I don't feel like that's fair to you, especially if she's not willing to follow through on her own word to help you. It doesn't seem like you can just drop everything and rearrange your life for her. It seems like she's not willing to reciprocate to some degree.

I don't think it's wrong of her to ask. As much as you can talk about your life and the challenges you encounter if she doesn't have kids she won't truly understand. Her masters is important to her and probably the biggest thing in her mind right now, that doesn't mean she doesn't love you or have empathy but she likely didn't realise what she was asking of you. Most people with a toddler wouldn't attend something like this 🤷🏼‍♀️ it's the sort of thing I didn't really understand before having kids. So I wouldn't personally be upset about this. However if she was angry/pushy about you saying no that would be a problem.

Thinning hair

Has anyone found anything that genuinely helps hair getting thicker? I used to have the thickest hair, down to my bum. Then after I had my son it just won’t stop falling out. Even now, I’m nearly 15 months PP and every day clumps of hair are falling out, even when I’m sleeping and roll over strands of hair get wrapped around my neck or hands. My hair line is so thin you can just see scalp, and if it wasn’t for how long it is, I’d genuinely look bald. Really starting to worry and stress out about it.

He’s 9 weeks now and wondering what other methods yall do to get your baby to sleep? He really struggles to get to deep sleep any other way except feeding or baby wearing

Pacifier issues

My baby is 7 months and never taken on or used a pacifier and I am wanting to get him to take one in the evening.

Has anyone successfully gotten their baby to take a paci at such an older age? If so, I how did you do it? What strategies did you have?

TIA x

Breast milk available!!

I’m looking to give away a bunch of my breast milk if anyone needs any. I’m collecting an average of 60oz every 24 hours so my deep freezer is FULL. I don’t want to have to pour it out because I know there are moms/babies in need. PLEASE reach out if you are interested or know of someone who could use it.
