Hello Bath mamas!
I’m just trying to organise my maternity leave and wanted to check:
1) Did you have to wait until your 25 week midwife appointment for the MatB1 form or did anyone manage to get one at their 20 week scan at RUH?
My midwife at Widcombe said she’d give it to me at my 25 week appt but that’s just after my work deadline so wasn’t sure how to contact them to ask for it sooner.
2) Is the whooping cough/pertussis vaccine drop in clinic at RUH open anytime so you can just get it at your 20 week scan?

Hi,
1 - you can just request the MatB1 form from you GP.
2 - you can drop in at anytime. It’s by reception. I believe they are open till 3:30/4pm. X

Private scan
Has anyone else paid for a scan and not been able to see baby’s face? My partner feels like it was a waste of money I see where he’s coming from but I’m just glad I got to hear baby’s heart beat and seeing the baby moving. What would you do?

Due date changed!
Anyone else had it where they had a due date based on the last period and then the date changed at the scan!
I am convinced I haven’t reached 40 weeks yet🤣

Toddlers are something else 😭🤣
I’m just sitting here minding my own business at 8 months pregnant and my toddler comes up to me and says “who got you pregnant”!!!
I looked at her like “what” and she repeated herself so I said “her daddy”! So she said “why did my daddy get you pregnant” 😳
So I said “I don’t know”! She says “it’s fine I will call him and ask him”…. She grabs my phone calls her dad who’s at work and he was sounded mortified, when she said “why did you get my mummy pregnant”! I couldn’t fully remember what he said because I couldn’t stop laughing!!! Nothing can prepare you to be a parent to a toddler!! 😭😂

I’ve found that Babys pattern is active 2 days continuously then day 3 they have like a rest day but still kick but not as active as previously I call it her rest day anyone else found this!! I’m currently 26weeks
