Post c section healing..

I’m not sure if it’s because I went into spontaneous labour before my planned c section or what but has anyone else suffered pain wise post c section? It’s only day 4 but honestly struggling with the pinching/ jolt stabbing pain on the left side of my incision when I move around and sit down. I know it’s only day 4 but people make out c sections are ‘easy’. Also have such horrendous tailbone pain (which could be from where I was having back contractions). I just want to feel back to normal and feel this is slightly taking away the newborn experience plus my toddler has reduced play from me as I can barely function 😩

The first week is rough going for sure. Please rest and give yourself some grace. I had the tailbone pain too from back contractions. It will ease over time. 4 days is super early you are in the trenches. It is by no means easy!

Personally no i didn’t go through this, but i’d advise to tell your gp or midwife what’s happening so you can get checked over and make sure no infection has developed, and maybe get something stronger prescribed?

You have had major abdominal surgery 4 days ago.....it's normal to be in pain. It's absolutely not easy.

Day 4 is very very early, and everyone’s recovery is different. I didn’t start to feel “normal” until week 3 last time.

37 weeks +2 days

Hi just looking to see if anyone else has had this before, so I’m 37 weeks and 2 days today and for the past couple of days I’ve not been feeling great lots of lower back ache and some period like pains but also some strange feelings like I feel hungry but don’t want to eat anything! And just overall just don’t feel right in myself.

Then since yesterday evening after going for a wee and wiping the tissue been like a pale pink/yellow colour but not like discharge just watery. Could someone please help me do you think it’s early labour or possibly an infection? I’ve added a picture so you can see what I mean ☺️

I need a 2nd opinion on this!

I am 31 weeks and 4 days, my mucus plug left 3/4 days ago i have not been feeling too well for past 5-6 days now. I have had a feeling something isnt right and something is going to happen! Now baby is all good and active and shes been normal. Last night i noticed clear and none smell liquid (thinking my waters) leaking. Any how i go and ring triage and get told to go in, get there monitor baby and shes happy. I then get told theyre going to do a swab for my waters and thrush as i have had thrush before. Dr comes and does a speculum just looks says cervix is intact and just looking im happy for you to go home. Then asked if i have a history of thrush she then just gets a swab and shuvs it in me that came back fine not thrush i then get sent home.

Something doesn’t sit right with me though. My mucus plug or what i think was left me then im leaking clear water so obviously i am thinking shit my waters have gone but dr’s talking to me like a child send me home gone through 2 sanitary towels (thick ones) in 5 hours (maximum) but apparently thats ‘normal’ because my cervix is normal. My gut feeling is saying go back but i am annoyed at how they was speaking to me. I am 21 years old and i know my body and i know something isnt feeling right at all.

What do i do because i dont want to go back and feel like i have wasted another journey as it really upset me thinking about it but i dont know what to do at all now.

Going to an event out of town at 35 weeks

I have a friends wedding which is about a 3hr drive away. Is this cutting it too close to due date to be travelling away from hospital? I could try drive there and back in a day. Not sure what the protocol is so any advice would be great.

Anyone else absolutely exhausted and worried about how they’ll have the energy for labour?

Honestly I am sooooo tired. I can’t stop napping (have a toddler too) and I genuinely think if I went into labour now I wouldn’t have the energy to push. Does anyone else feel the same? X

Baby dropping?

Idk if it matters but I feel like my baby has dropped a bit? My pelvis aches more and my bladder seems sensitive/like I have to go more often. So excited now! Also has anyone had a discussion with their midwife or doctor about a membrane sweep? I was curious to ask my midwife some questions about it.
