I just want a rant really I think and to see if anyone else has had it. Prior to being pregnant/giving birth I had a best friend of 16 years. I was there for the birth of her first child and picked her next two children up from the hospital when they had been born. I’ve been super active in hers and their lives since to the point where I am referred to as auntie. Her eldest will text me to catch up and we had a lovely friendship. But since becoming pregnant she’s not really been there and since giving birth she’s not checked in at all. The one person who I thought would check in has effectively taken a huge step back and as much as I want to confront her about it I don’t want it to turn into a fight unnecessarily. I’m just so disappointed in her and it makes me feel like she was only friends with me as I was useful to her and now I’ve got my own family to take care of she’s fucked off out the picture. I just don’t know what to do about it all - it’s been almost 10 weeks now and she’s reached out maybe twice to ask how we are doing and other than that it’s either been to post about her kids or responding to birthday messages.

I went through something very similar and had to end the friendship.

i think you should talk to her about it. i don't know why losing friends when having a baby tends to happen but it really seems to! that said, she's been your friend for so long and she deserves the chance to hear how you feel and make it right, just like you deserve the chance to get your friend back. she absolutely should be making time for you and you shouldn't always have to hold up the friendship yourself, but that doesn't mean she wouldn't pull more weight if she knew how hurt you were. and if she gets defensive or still fails to step up, then at least you know for sure and you can rest easy knowing you gave her the benefit of the doubt and the opportunity to be a better friend. then you have closure.
I am 13 weeks postpartum and I keep questioning whether I still love my husband or not. After I gave birth he was supportive but when we got home I started suffering with depression and he was so unsupportive! We've argued a lot, not as much now but I fear the damage is done, did anyone else experience anything simular and fall back in love?

Hi everyone,
I am going to be a first time mum for a baby boy in December,
We have recently brought a second hand pram in perfect condition; it’s a Babylo panarama XT, we have the car seat adaptors but unsure which car seats are compatible with it, I was wondering if anyone also has this pram?
Secondly,
How useful is it to have the car seat hook onto the pram itself or is it something which people don’t use.
Do I need a car seat compatible with my pram?
Sorry for the long question.
Thankyou 😘

I’m seeing and hearing lots about the 4 month sleep regression but has anyone not ever got out of the newborn cycle and still only getting 2-3hour stretches and never got a “down all night”?! The most my LO has slept was 5 hours, ONCE!
Is this going to get worse and go to hourly?!
I am taking it as I am not missing something I’ve never had and just functioning on 2 hr sleep stretches is fine 🥲

Am I the only one? My little girl is 12 months next week and she’s just so moody. She does smile and laugh ect but most of the time she’s throwing herself around, having tantrums won’t let me change her won’t let me dress her. I feel like giving up sometimes 😩 does this phase ever end? Am I doing something wrong? Is there any advice?

i feel like i’m doing everything to stop this but nothing is working 🙈 addressing myself as mama, the people around me call me mama in front of her. she has a photo book and i point at myself and say mama. she won’t stop! 😭😭 please tell me she will grow out of this or something because this has been going on for about a month. she won’t even say the word mama anymore, even out of context
